This inn and Irish pub is located just off the Appalachian and Long Trail systems. The site was built to support outdoor activities and that is still a main function. The inn rooms are set up to support hikers and hiker needs - no tvs, but plenty of places to power up your devices, comfy beds, tall water faucets that will accommodate filling those water systems - Smart bottles!
The restaurant/bar often features live bands and is a living representation of the song - I love this bar. There are hikers, hard working locals, cops from every state in the union apparently, as well as folks from huge cities coming to see the beautiful mountains - all singing Irish sea shanties. It was crazy. It was awesome. You will love this place - we certainly did!

Love the Inn at the Long Trail!! Everyone that works here is so friendly. Passed thru 16 year’s ago while hiking the AT and glad to be back for another overnight visit. This is a very unique place with a wonderful rustic feel! Don’t pass this one up!

We happened to find this place while looking for dinner and a beer last year. We had just skied Stowe all day, and were traveling to Killington. We loved it so much we decided to stay there for 3 nights and just ski Killington this year. The place has a great vibe and history. No frills, rustic, and feels like you’re at a family camp with a legit Irish pub attached to it. Family run for generations by outdoor enthusiasts. Authentic Irish food, music and conversation. Reminded us of family back home in Western PA. Great breakfast every day before hitting the slopes. Get a fireplace room if you can. We’ll be back. Thanks Murray ☘️

Stopped by for a sandwich with hard working immigrant friend from Brazil and the young bartender was so rude it shocked both of us. My friend wouldn't stop talking about how in his country that's not acceptable. I am from Georgia and I agree - that kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. I have also worked in the front of the house at restaurants when I have been deeply depressed and suicidal and I always smile and treat customers with kindness and respect and keep my personal problems to myself. I suggest that this guy gets a therapist or a psychiatrist - or join a support group. That's what I have done for 40 years since I had my first episode of depression. When you are working your responsibility is to be helpful to customers. If you are a traveler on a budget avoid this place unless you enjoy the Boston style surly treatment by bartenders this is the place for you. If you like warm and friendly and smiles and kindness and respect go elsewhere!

Conveniently located .8 off the Long Trail. Wonderful stop for thru-hikers and travelers alike. Friendly service and staff and the pub is wonderful! Ate there 3 times in less than 24 hours. Would recommend and stay again.
