This place SUCKS. The room smells musty at best. Everything is old as dirt. The furniture looks like they got it out of the trash. I booked a queen room and paid in full 5 months in advance and was given a room with a small double bed and a twin bed. This happened to 3 other couples I was there with as well. If all they had at the time of booking was the rooms they gave us they should have told us that up front but they did not so why weren’t any of us given the rooms we reserved?? There was no TV service. Could not connect to the internet. When I went to the front desk regarding this I was told to keep trying. When that did not work my husband went to the front desk and no one was there even though we were told someone was at the desk 24/7. So for $250.00 per night we had a smelly old room with a small uncomfortable bed that bounce like a trampoline any time you moved. I would
NEVER recommend this place to anyone for what this place charges they should invest some money into fixing it up. What a pit!!!!!!

Took almost 25 minutes just to get someone to the desk to check us in. Sign said to press button on a phone for help. Pressed 4 times with no reply. Had to wander back into the restaurant to ask a waiter to find someone. Turns out there was someone 10 feet away from the phone standing in the kitchen listening to us pressing the phone and they just ignored it. Rooms are pretty bare bones and the linens had stains including the robes. but the facility itself is pretty damn cool. Sucks cause its a great location and the pools and such seemed like their pretty cool when heated(which i did not expect to be on during off season so that was ok.)

The Summit Lodge in Killington offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The vibrant energy of the building is perfectly matched by the hospitality of the owner, staff, and fellow guests. O'Dwyer's Pub serves outstanding food and drinks that delight your taste buds without stretching your budget. I highly recommend this establishment year-round— for it's cleanliness and there’s always something to celebrate and enjoy at the Summit Lodge, no matter the season.

This place is wall to wall character, and there are a LOT of walls. Creaky pine everywhere, functional fireplaces, library, probably more I didn’t even explore. Like going back in time with real keys (but solid WiFi).

Didn’t realize there was no frig or microwave in the room. Staff was fine supplying ice instead. Hot tub was nice.

Awesome old school ski lodge. So much nicer than a hotel.

Very cool place but would not recommend unless it’s not busy. Loved the look of the lodge but felt like a daycare. So many kids running around couldn’t sleep. You go to the bar and there’s kids. Super annoying. Make sure u bring towels, toliet paper and shampoo because they give you the smalles towels(basically a tissue). Overall seemed like a great place but the kids ruined it. So if ur looking for a quiet relaxing place this ain’t it.

The fish and chips, clam chowder were very good. The VT grilled cheese didn’t have enough cheese, one thin slice. The bartenders were very fast and friendly. Prices are fair.

My son and I had an amazing stay at the Summit lodge. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and attentive. The place is a treasure, real mountain lodge with a giant fireplace and a cozy Irish pub with well worn booths and festive spirit. Very special and made for a memorable ski weekend.

Had a great time, restaurant had great service. Loved the room, loved the place. Hot tub was nice one night and cold the next.
Do not leave any items behind.
Just sharing my experience to help someone else and reduce workload for staff.
With our name and phone number twice on the outside of the bag, no one called to let us know we left a boot bag in the lobby while loading the car.
Since we thought these were in the car, we learned they were not in the car upon arriving at the next resort, several days later. Had to rent boots. Spent $85.
Called Summit lodge. Staff advised they did have our boots and would send them tomorrow in time for our next trip.
Five days later no action was taken.
Spent $60 replacing boots in time for the next trip.
Called Summit Lodge again and was told again they’d send them tomorrow, that they had to find a box.
Several days later they finally shipped the boots. Shipping cost was $53.
Summit waived their “service charge” for the shipping task although hadn’t mentioned a service charge initially or an amount.
In the end it was $200 and weeks and calls to correct our loading mistake.
Had to be super nice to staff. A surprised reaction to the 5 day delay likely caused a further delay.
Obviously none of this was their fault.
Pro tip: Be very mindful when loading and never trust or ask your group if everything is loaded.

We stayed at the lodge from 12/22/24 - 12/27/24. Great place. Close to slopes, shopping and dining. Very charming, quiet at night, clean. Friendly staff, great restaurant and morning breakfast. Loved the outdoor pool, hot tub and romantic fireplace. They're already booked for Christmas week 2025. Hoping someone cancels.😊
