I’ve been coming to the Trailside Inn for the past several years and I’m always met with clean and comfortable accommodations, tasty breakfasts (I particularly like the parfaits with perfect berries and delicious creamy Vermont yogurt), and very friendly and accommodating innkeepers. A couple of years ago when I got stuck in the parking lot due to some car trouble and couldn’t get out for dinner, Ann made me some grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Not only did I have my wedding here in August but I have also stayed at Trailside Inn for a long skiing weekend in March. In both scenarios the location and accommodation are just perfect! They offer easy parking, common spaces to hangout with a large fire in the winter, outdoor patio in the summer, and comfy beds. So if you are looking to ski Killington, stay here, you are close to a lot! If you are looking for a wedding venue, book Trailside now! From day one, working with Ann and Josh was so easy. They are quick with communication, kind people, and helpful through EVERY SINGLE part of the planning process. I really wanted a location where all of our guests could stay at one place, and Trailside was just that - hanging out all day, no driving anywhere, it was perfect. If you want that perfect, outdoor, Vermont wedding without the hassle of being at a resort, and with the benefit of working directly with the owners who care so much about you and your memories THIS IS IT BOOK NOW!

Our friends booked this cozy hideaway for their wedding. 80 people over the weekend was no problem for Trailside, they were clean, attentive, professional and most of all friendly. The fall backdrop and rustic elegance of Killington made for a beautiful wedding and a wonderful stay. Prompt breakfast in the morning and clean accommodations throughout the day made this event worry free. Thanks again to the staff, cheers.

I was here for a Motorcycle Ralley and I have to say the location is incredible. I didn't stay but I did see the rooms and they are wonderful. The staff is top notch and they are very attentive. Highly recommend.

We can't say enough great things about Ann and Josh and the Trailside Inn. The venue was fantastic. We received so many compliments (and still are) about how wonderful the entire weekend was. Having everyone on site was a dream, especially considering most of our guests travelled a distance. The communal spaces were large and welcoming, allowing for plenty of space to socialize with our guests the entire weekend. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The surrounding area is beautiful and makes for amazing photo opportunities.
We received glowing feedback from every vendor we interacted with about how amazing Josh and Ann are, and after the weekend, we certainly know why. They were extremely professional and communicative, often responding within minutes of our many questions. They had a planning meeting with us several months in advance which was super helpful in terms of making decisions and feeling confident that things would run smoothly. We didn't hire a wedding planner and unsurprisingly have never planned a wedding before- this was no issue thanks to their tremendous help- they think of absolutely everything! It is clear they are passionate about this place, and we are so very grateful to them. Trailside and Killington will always be a special place to us.

We spend a great weekend and they put up with us (group of 60 riders) with grace and superb service. Room and bathrooms are extremely clean and the game room was nice touch for some late fun. I'll be back soon..

The Vermont Widows Sons had its annual state weekend here this year July 11-13th 2025. We started the planning back in March I believe and from first contact Josh was just amazing. He made everything rather simple and then when it was time for us all to be there, him and his team welcomed us with open arms. We had at one point about 80 bikers there who all loved the venue and if you anything about making 80 people happy that’s a hard thing to do.
I just can’t recommend this place enough.

My wife and I attended the Vermont Widows Sons State Rally, this past weekend. What a great experience. My wife is wheelchair bound, so we stayed in the handicap accessible room, without which she would not have been able to attend. The room was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating. The bathroom had the best shower we've ever seen. The only thing I would have changed is a more wheelchair accessible game room. Thanks Trailside for a great & fun weekend, for both of us!

I stayed here for a wedding last weekend and really enjoyed the space. All wedding festivities took place on the property, and everything was put together beautifully. It’s right next to a golf course and is a 10-15 minute drive from the ski resorts. The room was really cute but didn’t have a tv and the shower was super tiny. The game room in the basement was awesome and a great place to hang late at night. Would’ve easily been 5 stars but I paid double what their weekly going rate is—it was over $600 for two nights which is the most I have ever paid for any hotel, motel, or Airbnb. The owners were really friendly and made the place feel like home. Only complaint was the cost.

Lovely Inn! Rooms are cozy, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and it's very close to Killington. Would definitely stay here again!

This is kind of the best budget place in the mountains, the couple owners are managing and keeping the premises and rooms super clean, the Game room is a win for Family who have kids, they all can play together and have amazing time.
Hall is a nice hangout time , Guests can watch TV , sit near the fire and in Winters , literally guests can have Great time in snow and location is 10mins drive from Killington resort of ski..Breakfast is very Good , freshly baked and Made Juices and Milk with good options to eat.
Their lady staff who comes in morning is super polite and makes Breakfast by herself fresh Evry morning.
They have ski Boots warmer which really helps to keep ski Boots warm and clean the next day ..
A Must to stay place when in Killington ..

A perfect place to stay when visiting Killington! We went for a ski weekend and arrived to a cozy fire in the great room. The hosts were extremely friendly. The game room downstairs was an awesome place to hang out to end the day and the included breakfast was great and made our day much easier to plan. I would recommend bringing ear plugs or a small fan if you are a sensitive sleeper, the inn is older so it was a bit creaky at night.
