Go see Matt!!!! This was my first time getting fitted for boots and Matt was so kind and knowledgeable. He took measurements and even with some of my more unique needs found the perfect boot immediately. He is super knowledgeable and friendly and I’d recommend this place to anymore for any gear you might need. It was also seamless to have my boots and skis tuned up at once. 10/10

I am a college student in Florida, I am going abroad to Austria in the spring! I had to fly back just to go to the BootPro. Their great team set me up with a sweet pair of Dalbellos with a custom footbed. Easily the best boot fitting experience I’ve had. If you’re not getting set up from the BootPro, you’re not doing it right. Thank you guys.

What a great place to get all your winter sporting needs. The staff is way knowledgeable and friendly, the inventory is extensive and you even get some great sale items. My husband needed new ski boots—they took their time (giving me a chance to shop!lol), weren’t pushy and helped him find the best fit and not necessarily the most expensive. Kudos to Brian for taking the time and giving us the best service, Kyle who was a star grinder for the all important inserts, and to Shon, the owner extraordinaire whose kids are also working at the store. All of these guys really know their inventory which is very helpful. They all made our stop in Ludlow a must do for skiers, bikers (and their families)!

The Boot Pro’s got it all! I was visiting the area for the first time and wanted to rent some mountain bikes. We opted for a guided tour with Shon and Alex. They were very knowledgeable of the area and took us on a great ride! Fun climbs on the e mtb and ripping downhills. The following day we rented some acoustic stumpjumpers and checked out some of the local trails of Ascutney. Another great day of riding. Thanks Alex, Shon, and the rest of the crew at the Boot Pro. Can’t wait to come back!

I wasn't sold on E bikes until I went for a guided ride with the owners. We were able to cover so much ground in the short window of time we had. It was a great way to explore new trails and see the foliage. Alex and Shon were so friendly and prepared for our ride. We couldn't of asked for a better way to get out on new trails! They also know the best maple creamy places so it's definitely worth your money...

What a great day! Stopped at Boot Pro, picked up a few E-Mtn Bikes and went for a guided ride with Shon, the owner of the shop.
They offer top of the line Specialized bikes for rent and they are incredible. We had varying levels of experience…and fitness…in our group, but the e-bikes really helps level that out. We went over to Ascutney and the trails there were fantastic- both technical single track switch-backs and open field go fast runs. Having someone there who knew the trails to guide us, helped us get the most out of the day. Definitely worth it if you want to try out an E-bike and experience some top-notch Vermont trail riding.

They rent E-Bikes here!!! and not just any E-Bikes, they have Specialized Carbon Levos! I think they may be the only shop in Ludlow that rents ebikes, and they are right by the Okemo entrance so you can ride the bike right up the road and on to the trails!
For $100 a day it’s an absolute blast! The battery lasted me 5 hours and that was with me in top assist mode. Also I opted not to pay for lift tickets, so I was literally riding up and down the mountain for 5 hours!
Even took it up mountain road all the way to the summit!
I cannot recommend this places E-Bikes enough, it’s a fantastic value when compared to okemo’s non E-Bike rental price’s and again you don’t need to pay for lift tickets with this thing as you can easily go up using top assist!
Finally the staff here was fantastic, they are really into mountain biking, so they want you to have a good time! 10/10 experience.

The crew at the Boot Pro helped me find the perfect AT back country set up. I have very challenging feet and have always struggled with getting boots to fit. Not this time! They set me up with custom foot beds and fitting. My feet have never felt better, I am ready for the Chic Chocś this spring!
Thanks Boot Pro!

Took me a while to remember to write this but was just thinking about this past season and felt compelled to give these folks their due. Excellent boot fitters and all around great people. You will not go wrong coming here.

I showed up at the Boot Pro last Saturday, pretty confused and demoralized. I had been struggling in my boots for the last few months. As a skier who learned as an adult and has worked hard to be a strong intermediate skier (who is now skiing 25-30 days a season), everything about skiing has been challenging and boot fit was no different. While the Nordica boots I purchased two seasons ago were a good fit for a while, I always had trouble with feet falling asleep and never feeling like I could get things the way they “should” be (whatever that meant!!). My larger calves were always feeling constricted and tight in a bad way. And now, my feet were sloshing around, no control over my skis, and my feet were still falling asleep. I was miserable and skiing poorly. No amount of fiddling with the buckles was helping.
I actually visited another boot fitter a few towns away the day before and was told I needed to go a full size down in my boots (period) and nothing could be done with my current boots except strapping in tighter (or wearing two pairs of socks! Spoiler alert: terrible idea) and being miserable until I shelled out $700+ for new boots.
Enter the Boot Pro and Matt Tripp. He assessed my foot and measured it in ways no one else had. He listened to everything I said, asked a lot of questions and manipulated my feet to really assess my issues. He measured me using multiple tools, twice. He was convinced that my boots are actually a pretty good fit for me and that sizing down is not really needed (but a low volume boot next time would be a great idea for my particular foot: narrow-average width, narrow ankle, larger calf). I didn’t even know about low, mid, or high volume boots! A whole important category besides the regular mondo sizing!
For $250, he built my custom foot beds, and then worked some serious magic fixing some of the packed out areas of my boots, bringing the foundation of the boot up to my foot, and snugging up the toe and heel so my foot stayed in place. He moved one buckle in tighter (which made me nervous as I had moved the clasp looser early on to give me more room in the calves). He opened up the calf adjustment on the boot to give me more room. He made sure I knew how to properly strap into my boot (which I really did not, and when I followed his advice with the new boot fit, it worked exactly like everyone says it should! The boots were snug, comfortable, but nothing cramped, hurting or falling asleep. And full contact with the tongue, etc).
Nate was helpful the morning I picked up the boots, making sure my alignment in the boots was correct.
I skied the best I’ve skied all season at Okemo on Sunday, just trying out the boots. I almost cried I was so happy to feel in control and confident of my skiing again. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service, knowledge, skill, and thoroughness of Matt and the staff I worked with here.
We live in Baltimore, MD and travel to ski almost every weekend. The Boot Pro will be a regular stop for us for as long as we are here and traveling to ski. Customer for life. Thank you!

My Ski house is local to Ludlow, and I never understood the hype about this smaller shop. After a couple of recent shopping trips, first for new skis and next for new boots, I completely get it. Incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable staff, great selection of products, and when it came to boot fitting, not only an enjoyable experience, but one that left me confident in the choice of boot and the fit process to get it right. I will now be one of those hyping this shop's awesomeness. Btw, it doesn't hurt that they have strongly competitive pricing as well

Best ski store in America IMO! I have been working with the team for over 15 years now. Honest, fair prices, deep knowledge of both Boots and Skis. This store has made my life better. Seriously.

14 on a 10-point scale. Even after a heat fitting at a shop at a major Colorado resort my new boots hurt. Boot Pro staff fixed them. I got the orthotics and they "blew out" the pressure point in each shell. My feet feel great and the form-fitting orthotics help my skiing. Heaven. Thanks! Paul Riehemann

This place is legit. I took my boots here to get them dialed in before I gave up on them completely. I have somewhat of an extraordinary foot shape and as soon as Nate started to assess my foot and the problems I’d been having, I knew I was at the right place. Took my newly fitted shells, liners and custom insoles to Jackson Hole a few weeks later and did not have any of the problems I had been previously experiencing. In fact, I barely noticed the boots were on when we stopped for apres. They were THAT dialed in. A million thanks. There is nothing like a ski boot that fits right and this place will make it happen for you.
