It's important to be cautious of the reservation terms. Despite booking a room 48 hours in advance, I was informed that canceling required a 30-day notice. When I expressed that this was impossible, the response was simply "I understand," which left me puzzled.

We stayed 2 night on Easter weekend. The highlights were the location & the staff - these overshadow any limitations. The cons were that there's no room upkeep even at the high price point. And the lobby level (and access to the ski lift) can apparently only be accessed by the central elevators. So there's a long walk if you parked underneath your room on the south side. There are lots amenities and lot of families to keep kids happy. Overall vibe was good.Rooms: No room upkeep. Only 2 towels for a family of 2 adults and 1 toddler.Nearby activities: Excellent access to Okemo ski on the Jackson Gore side.

Great access to the lift and excellent customer service! From the front desk, bar, and the staff, I felt welcomed and taken care of.

While we selected this hotel for the proximity to the ski lift, we were severely disappointed with everything else.Upon arriving at the hotel, there was a mix up with the room. The hotel staff apologized and explained that this happens often and we would be compensated accordingly for this issue. While traveling with my father, we needed two separate beds. However, the hotel was sold out and there was only one "queen" bed available. The staff attempted to find another available room, however, they were not able to. In an attempt to mitigate this issue their only solution was to provide us with an air mattress. Not a pull-out couch, not a roll away, not a portable twin bed, not a cot. An air mattress. I didn't realize that I paid an arm and a leg to sleep on an air mattress. As a business in the hospitality industry, it is unacceptable for them to not have a better option for paying guests. When we finally arrived in the only room that was available, the room was dirty. There was dust everywhere, as if it hadn't been cleaned. Furthermore, the queen bed was actually a full-sized bed. Then when the safe finally brought the air mattress and a mini fridge to the room, it was missing parts, and they weren't willing to even try to help. I had to ask for their help. It further demonstrated a lack of professionalism and communication with the staff. The next morning, I went to the front desk to ask about switching rooms and ended up by chance speaking with the manager, Carly. Carly informed us that we would be able to switch our room and the staff would transfer our bags while we were skiing. After a day of skiing and getting a new room key, we discovered that our bags were not transferred for us. In fact, we had to transfer our bags. Upon returning the trolly back to the front desk, I saw Carly and informed her of my disappointment with the customer service. The next day while we were checking out (with a new staff member), the manager said quietly that she needed to adjust our bill. However, it has now been weeks and I have yet to see an adjusted bill or credit to my credit card. This hotel staff at Jackson Gore Inn is full of promises that they don't follow through with. In the past, we stayed in Switzerland during ski season a similar rate as we paid here and the customer service was night and day. In Switzerland, they were quickly able to separate a king bed into two separate twin beds, they transported our bags to our room without issue, provided additional transportation, maintained a clean environment.

The location is obviously fantastic, being on the mountain, but the rooms are not sound proofed, all the furniture is old and cheap, and the gym doesn’t open until 7:30. The gym not opening until 7:30 is totally absurd and unreasonable. This is not a 3-star hotel.

Pricey hotel with fantastic location and skiing amenities. Great heated pool/hot tub. Rooms could use updates.Nearby activities: Can’t beat the ski in ski out location.Walkability: Great area to walk around within the resortFood & drinks: Lobby bar and restaurant were fantastic, albeit priceyNoteworthy details: Ski / snowboard check was incredible and didn’t cost extra! No need to lug your skis back to your room or car.

Reviewing Tavern:5 star in the context of Jackson Gore options for sure. Beer was ultra cold. Expect everything to be expensive. The food was surprisingly good, however. French onion soup came piping hot and was so rich. Maple buffalo wings had just the right mix of sweet and heat. Signature burger with that bacon chutney was to die for. Well executed me and great service by our waiter. Honorable mention is a giant fried chicken sandwich that I didn't try but friends loved.

We had a 2 bedroom with a loft. Space was great- super clean and had what we needed. TVs desperately need to be upgraded- no way to do Netflix etc. Also might be helpful if they had quiet hours. People are loud in the hallways and it can get annoying. Parking garage is awesome but it fills up.

The only thing good about this “resort” is how close it is to the mountain. Front desk workers were bored and uninterested in providing any sort of customer service. The decor looks like it was purchased in 2004 from an estate sale. Rooms smelled bad. Hallways smelled bad. Bar had more kids in it than adults. What makes this place a resort besides resort prices? An outdoor hot tub? I wasn’t sure what water was more luke warm, the indoor pool or the hot tub. The only reason you would come here has to be nostalgia because it’s just a huge waste of money.

We stayed here for thanksgiving weekend for early season ski. It’s our first time here and found out the Jackson Gore ski area will open in early Dec. the clock tower base is an easy drive or you can ask shuttle service. The hotel area is new and pleasant. The staffs are all very friendly, attentive and nice. They made effort to make our stay convenient and comfortable. While the restaurant is not open for breakfast, there are complimentary continental breakfast for the guests. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. It was okay for us. We borrowed DVD and had old fashioned family time. There were small numbers of trails are open for ski. I was a bit worried about some bad Epic pass reviews, but found the ski staff were equally friendly and the services were good. My only complaint is the trails opened were a bit narrow and many people stopped on the trails. Maybe in the peak season it can get better. Overall liked the vibe and service!Nearby activities: The ski area at Jackson Gore is not open until early Dec due to bear hibernation season timing. You will need to go to the clock tower base for early season ski. It’s less than 2 miles away and there are shuttles available as well.
