I implore you to consider any alternative veterinary clinic in the surrounding area, steering clear of this one. My personal experience with this establishment has revealed a disconcerting lack of professionalism and empathy from the owner, who, in my opinion, should not be entrusted with the care of our beloved family pets. Regrettably, this vet has demonstrated incompetence that extends beyond my own experience. The absence of compassion when dealing with the lives of our pets is alarming. While there may be satisfied clients, my opinion, coupled with numerous accounts from others, leads me to believe that this establishment should be reevaluated by the VT Board. I urge you to heed the warning signs - not just from my review but from the plethora of reviews that predate my own. Choosing this clinic may result in consequences that you, like many others, will deeply regret. The life and well-being of your cherished animal companion deserve the utmost care and consideration, and I genuinely believe you'll find better alternatives in the nearby area.

I searched for a vet who I was hoping more holistic in their views and also was certified as an animal chiropractor. My dog was a very healthy active golden retriever who now is so injured, lame, and limping. He is a larger dog and Dr. Treat suggested he get a hip x-ray. His team took the dog in and when he came out he was so upset and injured. He clearly was hurt by restraining for an x-ray fhat he didn't even need, or by incompetent chiropractic care. Dr Treat didn't even stay for the exam / visit, and left the office for the day on a Friday afternoon and said he would call me with results of the xray. I drive my dog home who is now in so much pain, and called their office 5 times over the course of the week, and finally got a call back the following Friday. He had no compassion how they hurt and injured him and said I should go put him on kinds of anti inflammatories and invasive procedures that I would pay more for. I am so upset and have to bring my dog to a rehab place now and hope he isn't injured so bad for life. Please don't trust your animal to these people. Also, this is the first yelp review I have ever left. But you need to know.

Amazing vet! Had a wonderful experience here - they took us in short notice after our puppy got stung by a bee and provided us with helpful guidance. Doctor Kyle and the rest of the team were fantastic.

I brought a rescue in that I had found the night before on a road in NY in rough condition. I was coordinating care with a rescue when I became worried about the cat’s breathing, and showed up at Green Mountain with no notice. The receptionist, Kristy, was very calm the staff was attending to the cat within two minutes of my arrival. The care and attentiveness was more than I could have expected, especially while knowing that I had limited resources for this unexpected situation. I am fully aware that many clinics would not respond with this level of compassion. I specifically want to thank Tatyanna, who is exactly who I would hope to have as a tech in a stressful situation - she deserves a huge shoutout because she is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Bushee is patient and knowledgeable, and Dr. Treat as practice owner, did not hesitate to offer care to an animal in need that was not a patient. Marissa volunteered to continue the cat’s care despite it ultimately being hospice and I’m really grateful that she sent me an update. These are truly compassionate professionals. My experience yesterday showed nothing but genuine concern for an animal. This rescue cat gets to have a happy ending, largely thanks to Green Mountain.

Wonderful service and we travel far just to have all of our pets taken care of. Our 7y/o dog has had everything done at this location and we have yet to have a bad experience (even through the pandemic!)

After I begged for a call back three times for a "check-in" post my 7 month old puppy's lumpectomy your surgical nurse told me Dr Bushee and herself were 90 percent sure it was not cancer prior to surgery.UM WHAT! COME AGAIN PLEASE!? Why was I not told this prior to major exploratory surgery on my puppy! Why did you cut it out- why not tell me those statistics before booking surgery or say leave it or tell me to go elsewhere if you don't have the equipment to cryo freeze it off! I went in one day and surgery was available the next! I was told you saw lots of cells - histiocytes which are almost always benign and normal in young dogs as they grow! Why didn't you send the fluid out to be cultured instead of butchering my puppy's skull! How about some simple blood work prior to cutting her open! Stay far away from this clinic of Dr Kovorkians! They should have their medical license revoked! You told me it would be a 2 mm incision ...my puppy came home with a 7 mm incision and in pain! If it's not cancer why do this! Are you scalping for cancer or are you scalping for cash? Despite the fact I was honest telling you I was just caught in lay-offs at my tech company you subject my family and my dog to this unnecessary financial burden. I found out from a prior vet who worked at this practice that vets are compensated on a salary plus commission basis! Commission in medical care is extremely unethical. The website lists the vet's interests as "curative surgery" well you should perform it on patients who require it! My puppy should never have been used as your cadaver to practice your scalpel skills which by the way need major improvement! I took this up with the owner of the facility Dr Treat and he could not care less. This place wants to make money and will butcher your animals unnecessarily to line their pockets. AVOID GREEN MOUNTAIN VETERINARY HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS. Sincerely, The puppy's mother who you will NEVER forget

I’m disgusted that they didn’t have the courtesy to call me back as promised. We are traveling with our rescue pup. Because we had a problem with our motor coach and our trip back to Texas was delayed, we ran out of heart guard for our pup and it’s imperative he has it monthly as we continue to address his heartworm condition. We have the prescription, and the box that we finished last month and the dog. The staff was rude, unfriendly and unkind. (Seems to be the norm in Vermont) She knew I was very worried and upset and couldn’t care less. Said she’d speak to the vet and call us back. He was too busy, aren’t we all. Nothing. But we realized this is typical of people in Vermont. The unfriendliest state in the nation and we’ve travelled through all the lower 48. I’m Disgusted. If my dog gets sick, I’ll sue you to England and back. You know who I am now. I had to give them a star to be able to post this.

Front office manager is awful. Never calls you back or respond to emails. Waited a week for medication when my pet needed them. This was my third time with this issue. She is not friendly, sad really. We love DrTreat and I feel customer service has slipped in the past three years. I had to send emails several times and call multi times to get the assistance I needed for my pet. I’m sad to say management is not professional.

Dr. Rob has treated all of my animals for several years. He is compassionate and very knowledgeable. His use of chiropractics and laser treatment extended quality time with our 15 yr old dog. He's always been there for us through the best and worst. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

We were visiting the area when our two pesky pups decided to pester sleeping porcupines who did not appreciate being disturbed. We desperately dialed to find care and found the best we could ask for!We arrived close to closing, and the staff stayed late to treat our dogs with professional and compassionate care.Highly recommend them!
