Our visit coincided with their annual Halloween event. Fortunately for us, there was no entrance fee. Unfortunately for us, it was a pretty chaotic time to visit with events going on and kids running around. Still managed to see some interesting arts though.

This is a beautiful, small museum surrounded by fields with a variety of sculptures. We especially appreciated the wealth of information provided on the easy to read signage. It was a pleasure to wander and study the collection. Note that there is a charming looking cafe that was not open during our visit. Prices listed seemed relatively high though.

Wonderful setting and we loved the exhibitions and the outdoor sculpture garden. Dinner at Curate was a highlight but be prepared, it is expensive! Farm to table and all so fresh!

This place was nice. Loads to see. The story of the dress was so moving. I was not please that there is no elevator in the art gallery. My father in law was only able to see one floor. I took loads of photos for him but it's not right that he was not able to see it for himself. There was no additional discount for only seeing 1 floor of the gallery. The lady at the front seemed to not be bothered and was not apologetic in the least. There is a restaurant in the gallery, however we did not eat there.

** not wheelchair accessible **I spent multiple weeks anticipating my visit home. First, of course to see family, but also to visit the Southern Vermont art center to view my great grandfather’s artwork that made it into the exhibit.Upon entering the Lower museum and paying the admission fee, I toured the lower level and realized his artwork must be upstairs. I went to the front desk to ask how I access the upstairs and was told that it is not accessible. I wish I was notified prior to entering the exhibit and paying my entry fee. Just common curtesy… hopefully one day this will be addressed and updated. And you may want you adjust your accessibility icon on google maps.Other than that beautiful place that I enjoyed coming to prior to my injury.

Southern Vermont Arts Center consists of galleries in two buildings, and outside sculptures. There is also a cafe. We enjoyed seeing art on display by different artists in various mediums.

So impressed with the childrens' camps! Erin has been wonderful to work with... the gallery spaces are lovely and it's a beautiful campus to explore with Nature Conservancy trails off the back of the property. A must visit if you're from out of town, and a place to return to over and over again for those of us in the greater SoVT region.

We first visited the art center about sixteen years ago and enjoyed it so much that we decided to visit again. This time we saw work in several galleries in two buildings, as well as sculptures on the grounds, including the annual solo exhibition. There is also a cafe with outdoor seating which offers brunch and dinner in . Reservations are required. We had the privilege of viewing Alberto Key: Cultural Landscapes. We enjoyed watching videos of Alberto creating his art and then viewing them in person in the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum. In addition to the main collection, there are additional collections that change every few months so there is something new to see each year.

An interesting choice in winter, but the galleries were nice. It is more difficult to enjoy the outdoor sculptures. Some can be seen, while others would require trek through the snow. But the surrounding views are amazing!

The sculpture park, landscape, walking the trails, are just the tip of this incredible iceberg. The galleries are packed with unique art. Topped off my trip with a visit to the restaurant curATE. It was so fun!
