“What a gorgeous property and filled with so much history. Docents allowed groups of people in every 15 minutes, spoke to the Lincoln family's story and then let us wander throughout the home and outside in the gardens - all breathtaking and overlook the mountains of Vermont. Some folks seemed to rush through - others spent a lot of time - hours there.”

“What you'd expect from a Kimpton property: nice rooms, well-equipped with ironing board, yoga mat, etc., dog-friendly. Attentive staff, including housekeeping. Free EV charger. Minor gripes: wifi was spotty, real (not disposable) coffee cups would be nice. Rooms facing Main St. get a lot of traffic noise.”

“We have a gift card that we’d love to use before our baby arrives, but according to their policy, you have to pay for your entire trip with your own funds, and then they’ll refund the gift card amount upon check out. Paying $500 versus $1000 for two nights is a difference we’re unable to afford. It’s quite a disappointing payment policy….”
“The Wilburton is a truly special place. My family and I read about it in Yankee Magazine which featured its annual Doggy Slumber party. The mansion (main part of the inn) was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and the party was amazing. A chartreuse from NYC performed Christmas songs as we sipped champagne and delighted in the warmth of the season. Melissa (owner) couldn’t have been more accommodating and was genuinely so happy to host and entertain the guests.We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It even included a full kitchen and laundry room— perfect for our family trip!A magical stay for sure and we will come back annually to enjoy this new family tradition at the most lovely Wilburton Inn!”
