My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Our inn keeper, Meesha, was absolutely amazing. If we ever return to Vermont, this is where we will be staying again.

We stayed in the Green Mountain House for 4 evenings
(two sons, their wives and small children). The house was very clean and comfortable, and very large, with a great deck in the private backyard, conducive to quiet morning coffee and evening cocktails. The grounds are beautiful and mountain views in every direction are breathtaking. The pool was enjoyed by all. The location is also fantastic, just a short drive to the town of Manchester. Melissa was absolutely amazing. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

We had a 2.5 day stay there, and everyone from the staff at the front desk, to the lawn care gentlemen, to the actual owners, were wonderful! The rooms were lovely, and my children really enjoyed the pool on campus as it was 90 degrees the days we stayed there. We were less than 10 min away from all the restaurants and shops in town too! Super convenient!
The real reason I am taking the time to review them though, is because of the way the owners went above and beyond to accommodate my daughters and I as we waited for my husband to finish a 5 hour long video conference. Check out time was 11am, and my husband wasn’t going to be done until 3pm, so when I called to ask for late checkout , I told them my situation, and I was met with compassion and understanding. So instead of being “homeless” for 4 hours, we got to enjoy the pool for another hour, shower, and rest before our long 5 hour ride back home. I was grateful for their understanding because this made that time that we were waiting fun and relaxing instead of stressful.
Because of this extremely positive experience, I will be booking another trip to the Wilburton Inn, and I will recommend them to anyone looking to visit Manchester!

very nice place I went there with my wife and my three daughters and their families. We stayed in Strawberry Villa. My sister-in-law and her family stayed in reunion house. We were there for a week. It was a wonderful experience. We had a really nice time. The place is very nice. The grandchildren loved the pool and spent most of the day in there. There are things to do as well including playing volleyball, basketball and using the fire pit at night to make s’mores and marshmallows.
. The town in Manchester has a lot to offer both restaurants as well as a wonderful bookstore and various activities such as swimming in the Dorset quarry or Bromley‘s adventure land. We were very happy with our experience. There were one or two minor issues during our stay , but the staff was wonderful and attentive and took care of them promptly . We enjoyed it so much that the two families are already talking about booking for next year. strongly recommended

We had such a wonderful time. Room was beautiful and clean. This is our second time here and we loved coming back just as much as the first time. Grounds are breathtaking and a lovely walk. Mountain Views are gorgeous! We loved sitting on our patio with a coffee in the morning and taking in the views. A dip in the refreshing pool with Mountain Views. Very dog friendly. It is close to town too. This place is a hidden gem. The Inn Keeper Melissa was amazing, so welcoming and personable - made us feel right at home. We will be back! You will not be disappointed!

My family and I rented the reunion house for a weekend so we could all spend time together with my grandfather who has terminal cancer - the host and home exceeded all expectations! It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had plenty of outdoor activities for all ages (tennis, cornhole, pool, ping pong, life size chess, etc.) The host was responsive, kind, accommodating, and compassionate about our circumstances. I highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a space for a large group of people and hope to return in the future!

We had the most unforgettable Mother’s Day 2025 weekend at the Doggie Slumber PAW-ty hosted by the beautiful Wilburton Inn in Manchester, Vermont! From start to finish, the entire experience was full of charm, hospitality, and tail-wagging fun.
The weekend kicked off with a delightful Welcome Paw-ty, where guests (both two-legged and four-legged) were treated to a wonderful spread of local Vermont wine and cheese. It was the perfect way to unwind and connect with fellow dog lovers in a stunning mountain setting.
Each morning, we were invited to bring our pups along to a delicious Vermont Country Breakfast—the food was fantastic, with fresh, local ingredients and cozy ambiance, and the dogs loved being part of the experience.
One of the highlights was the group doggie stroll around the picturesque grounds and nearby trails. It was a great opportunity to take in the fresh spring air, meet new friends, and let the dogs enjoy the outdoors.
The accommodations were absolutely top-notch—comfortable, charming, and very pet-friendly. The Wilburton Inn strikes a perfect balance between elegance and warmth, making both guests and their dogs feel completely at home.
If you’re looking for a unique and heartwarming way to celebrate Mother's Day with your furry family members, I can’t recommend the Wilburton Inn’s Doggie Slumber PAW-ty enough. We’ll definitely be back next year!

I’ve been coming to Manchester for years and nothing compares to my stay at The Wilburton! It was simply magical! The estate feels like a storybook come to life. The views are amazing, and the artwork gives the property so much character.
My mom and I stayed in the Equinox Views Villa. I loved the jacuzzi and deck facing Equinox mountain. I can't believe the town is so close but this property feels like stepping in to another world. I loved meeting the little dog Jetson who greeted me. Next time I'll bring my dog too!
I will definitely come back.

Reader: If you’re in love, thinking about falling in love, or just want to be surrounded by charm, joy, and magic: BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT THE WILBURTON! Wow. Just wow. This place is utterly and gloriously one of a kind.
The Wilburton is perched on a hilltop with sweeping Green Mountain views. There’s historic charm, whimsical art, lush gardens, beautiful rugs. It feels like a family estate, an art museum, and a dreamy retreat all rolled into one. But what truly sets The Wilburton apart isn’t the beauty (though it is ABUNDANT). It’s the people.
The team behind the Wilburton…WOW. Meesha, Tajlei, Melissa, Albert, Sarah, Lottie, Valerie, Dexter, Sam, the CHEF!, the housekeeping crew... I don’t know how else to say this - they are literal angels. A full ensemble of guardian angels disguised as event pros, who will treat your guests with so much care, warmth, and intention it will leave you speechless.
And Meesha…. the heartbeat of your wedding planning! She’s the Wilburton's on-site wedding planner for your entire planning process, but in reality, she goes WELL and BEYOND that role. She is the calm in the storm, a problem solver, and super compassionate. She treated our family like her own. When visa issues threatened our international guests’ plans, she worked with Tajlei and Melissa to make sure those guests had flexible and stress-free housing. And when our budget felt tight, without us asking for solutions, she offered smart, thoughtful ideas to help us save without sacrificing anything.
And then there are the moments in the special details. Like when all the shuttles had left for the night and one of our guests missed the bus - Meesha personally drove him home at 1:30am, planning to come back to finish her work. Or how she and her team were somehow everywhere at once: putting table numbers in frames, boxing things up at the end of the night. I have no idea when she did half of what she did. Meesha just made it all feel seamless.
And the entire team at The Wilburton follows that lead. While we were off dancing at the reception, they snuck into our bridal suite, cleaned it, organized it, and left it glowing. No clue when they found the time - especially since Meesha was also capturing video snippets of the wedding from the sidelines to send us.
Every vendor gushed about the staff. Every guest adored them. I genuinely wanted Meesha and the team around her as guests in the wedding by the time the big day came!
The team absolutely DELIVERS. Dexter’s MASSIVE bonfire on Friday night was the perfect kickoff to the weekend. (The bonfire is a MUST do!). Valerie’s INCREDIBLE warmth & cocktails were handcrafted magic made with homegrown ingredients. Tajlei and Melissa made us feel like the property had been waiting for us all along. Even during our tasting weekend, they created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and joyful for all the bride and grooms. Everywhere we turned, the team added little touches - unwrapping and tying up guest blankets without being asked, running to grab Advil for guests, offering tables and carpets for our ceremony setup, hand delivering gift bags to rooms.
There were at least a dozen things I intended to take care of, only to find they’d already been handled. I’ll never know the full list of things they did behind the scenes, but I felt them all. That kind of quiet, behind the scenes thoughtfulness made the weekend feel easy, magical, and full of love.
If you’re looking for the BEST place for a wedding, reunion, event, or even just a night stay to enjoy a gorgeous destination, do yourself a favor and book The Wilburton Inn!!!

We absolutely loved our wedding weekend at the Wilburton Inn as well as the team there. The attentiveness and expertise that they brought to our wedding and all of the planning leading up to it was so helpful. They listened to our requests, helped with so much, and had such a great team onsite. Meesha is wonderful and a large part of why we chose the Wilburton! Having our guests onsite was such a great added benefit and really made for a special weekend. Would absolutely recommend the team at the Wilburton Inn for your wedding!!

Everything at the Wilburton is magical! From the first step to the last and everything in between was an awesome experience! Myself, my 11 year old son, and my dog are eager to go back! My son even asked me before we left when we were coming back again! Melissa made us feel so special and cared for and so did everyone there! The Murder mystery was awesome and very well put together! The food was amazing and having our dog with us topped it off! There’s no other way I would have wanted to spent my Mother’s Day Weekend this year ❤️
