All I did was pull into the parking lot looks like a run-down cockroach motel from the outside. I was not about to stay there, so I cannot tell you about the rooms or the

Cleanliness, hot-water, accommodating, and close proximity to both mountains at a fair price. Best place to stay in the greater Rutland area. Going to be my go-to spot for every time I’m in the area.

Room was most epic. A lot of these older lodgings up here are dated. If you are expecting something newer then rent one of the condos or remodeled places for $$$. If you want clean place to stay with a very friendly and accommodating owner then this place is perfect. Clean, warm, plenty of hot water, affordable and friendly. I have stayed at plenty of spots up here over the last decade. This is up there on my list of favorites!

Well, this is a veritable winter wonderland, if you're outside. I believe the maintenance crew took a day off a few years ago and just didn't come back. The room I had was in such disrepair that I cannot list all the problems... But the owners are genuinely nice people and are the best reason to frequent this establishment. 'Nuff said.

It's a motor lodge - clean, and everything worked fine, just a pretty dated decor. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even suggesting good local spots for hiking and food. Very affordable and met our needs at a convenient location.

You get what you pay for-- employees generally friendly. However, the room did not meet our expectations. The blanket (see picture) was completely shredded and there was a bottle of orange juice left in the fridge that had clearly been there a while. In the evening, the bathroom sink started leaking-- a staff member came to try to fix it with little luck. Ultimately a quiet stay, and cute inn, but even for the price the room was less than appealing.

Thermostat broken, so the room was at least 80°F. Breakfast was high-carb, not much in the way of protein. Otherwise, fine experience and nice main office staff, decorations, entrainment, and other amenities.

Clean, convenient stay. I booked this through booking DOT com for $59. When I checked in the office was locked but I called and someone came out and checked me fairly quickly. The place was fairly dated but very clean. There is a bit of road noise but the window AC unit drowns it out. The Wi Fi was intermittent at best... working for about an hour but otherwise not.

While one of the employees was helpful over the phone, when I arrived the manager of the business was very rude to me. Some friends of mine were staying at another hotel down the road, anytime over the weekend that they stopped by he was rude to them as well and always accusing us of lying to him. He was rude when we asked for additional sheets. The room itself wasn't bad for the money and it is a cheap hotel but there are other options in the area and I'd rather pay a bit more for quality customer service than to put up with someone like him again.

Although the staff was incredibly friendly, the room that we were staying in had water damage on the ceiling, rust everywhere, and two very used, a half a roll of toilet paper, and uncomfortable beds. The continental breakfast was sub-par with sour milk for the cereal and brick hard bagels with the only good option being a waffle. For $120, this motel was wayover priced. If we had paid ~$50 or $60 this review would be much different.

DO NOT STAY HERE.... several years ago my local ski club stayed here. All of us got bed bugs.... diagnosed by Viking pest control. Thousands were spent remediating the issue. The owners were of no use and accused us of bringing the bugs! We lived the with the owner of Viking pest control at the time! Moral of the story you get what you pay for! If they are a little bit bumble or helpful I wouldn’t have posted this! Beware!

Small place with some older rooms. Still very affordable and close to Killington. You could stay closer for a premium, but this is a more practical location. The desk staff was friendly and willing to help in clearing snow from the walkways.

Me and my husband decided to stay here because we thought it was closer to where we were spending the weekend. Come to find out it wasn’t, when we arrived the parking lot was all tore up and there wasn’t much “recreational parking” which we needed because we had a trailer on the back of the truck. As we are pulling in we notice that the pool cover was on the pool. We walked up to it and it wasn’t opened yet. That was definitely a let down because my daughter was looking forward to the pool. So then we saw the hot tub maybe we can best of a bad situation, the hot tub cover had a lot of dust on it and that kind of made me think that it probably isn’t cleaned too often. So we check in get our key. I kind of got a jail cell kind of vibe from the room.I wasn’t looking for Hilton by any means but a little updating would have been nice. The tv had maybe had 20 channels. It was no more than 19 inches, late 1980s picture. The bathroom was tiny. My daughter found baby toys and a spoon under the bed. The ac was outdated didn’t blow cold air. The bed wasn’t so bad but the pillows were pancake flat. My husband said the office area was nice but I never went in there. I am not one to complain but the best part of our stay was when we left. It is definitely somewhere you just lay your head.

The owner is friendly and accommodating. He often has suggestions for scenic motorcyle rides for us too. The room is comfortable and the breakfast area is always stocked with hot coffee, a waffle maker, bagels, and cereal. Cozy atmosphere all around.
