Cozy little cabin with old school counter service and basic eats with a home cooked feel. We got a couple of breakfast sandwiches to go and some gifts for friends.Solid range of maple products. Various maple syrups, jams, maple sugar, maple cookies, maple candies, maple popcorn, etc and a souvenir shop downstairs.

Finally! A place in New England that serves American style waffles! Fantastic tasting and a great staff! Pretty nifty gift shop where they have an area set up to convert Maple sap into Maple syrup. That was great to see.

My friend requested to go here for her birthday, so we drove up from Boston (about 2.5-3 hour drive). There was a wait but it ended up only being about 20 minutes. We were seated at the counter, and could see into the kitchen. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes, and my fiend ordered Pigs in a Blanket with gluten free pancakes. The pumpkin pancakes were delicious! The real maple syrup really enhanced the flavor. My friend said the gluten free pancakes were ok, but the dish that she was really excited about was the maple crunch sundae. The maple crunch sundae had maple syrup and maple crunchies (hardened maple syrup candy pieces). It is very sweet but delicious. I tried some of hers and then even though I was stuffed from my pancakes, got myself a sundae. I highly recommend the sundaes! The building itself is really cool. Downstairs is a store, and there are things for sale scattered on the main floor too. The items are very much Vermont themed, and would make good souvenirs/gifts. Overall I highly recommend!

Almost every trip to Vermont includes breakfast here. This time it was picked up and take back to where we were staying, and it still did not disappoint. The food is always good and the service is greatIf you are in the area, definitely give them a try.

Pancakes big and delicious enough to keep you full while skiing! My husband is celiac and was able to have their GF pancakes without any issues as well!

Food was slow but you’ll see why… it’s a favorite by many and the place is massive. The kitchen probably can’t keep up with the love this place gets. The food is phenomenal and the staff are wonderful.

Last spring we went touring around New England and tried Maple & Walnut ice creams where ever we went. The Maple & Walnut at Sugar & Spice was by far and away the best we have ever tasted!! We will be traveling to the USA again this year and will be making a detour to visit Sugar and Spice again - it was that good ?
