My husband and I stayed here with some family for a weekend ski trip to Pico Mountain. An approx. five-minute drive to the mountain and ten-minute drive to Killington restaurants made this place so convenient for our vacation. Macayla and Josh were very accommodating and laid back. Our room was comfortable and the perfect size for our crew, even if the furniture and bathroom were somewhat dated. The breakfasts were delicious, came out quickly once we sat. The sauna was a welcome addition after a cold day hitting the slopes! As was the fridge to store our food. Would definitely stay here again for our next winter ski trip.

Beautiful inn with extremely friendly staff. Our suite was absolutely gorgeous and the amenities were top notch. The location was awesome as we went to Killington a couple of days and the drive was barely 15 minutes. My fiancé and I will absolutely be returning to this inn next time we go to Killington.Nearby activities: Less than 15 minutes to Killington and Rutland

My Husband and I spent 2 nights here after eloping and it was an absolute dream! The service was amazing, a bottle of champagne was sent to our room shortly after our arrival and the hosts went out of their way throughout our stay to ensure that we had everything we could possibly need. Our room was perfectly clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also loved the little pub on-site, it was the best way to end our evenings! We will definitely be returning!

I try not to leave negative reviews but as a frequent solo female traveller I felt I should share my experience. I stayed here for a weekend this past ski season. Checked in at a reasonable time, got the key, got settled. A couple hours later, maybe around 9pm maybe, it sounded like someone was trying to come into the room, two men. I tried to announce myself, it sounded like they went away. Then they came back, with a key, and started literally entering the room. I shoved myself against the door just before they opened it (I had just come out of the shower) and said more loudly "someone is already in this room" ??? I got dressed, and later the manager came up and checked my identity to confirm that I was in the correct room. But no one ever apologized which I thought was crazy. I get that accidents happen but 1) at least acknowledge the situation and make it right and 2) unfortunately as a young woman, I can't really risk these situations. I was really shaken up about it and then I felt weird the rest of the time I was staying there. The inn itself is quaint and the location is really close to Killington, but I just can't excuse what happened. Also the breakfast portions were really small.

This inn is in a great location with a beautiful view. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, it was very dated, smelled musty, and is in need of some upgrades. The breakfast was delicious. The innkeepers are nice and it's obvious they work very hard to meet the needs of their guests.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Vermont Inn. The innkeepers are young, friendly and helpful. Our room, Monarch, was on the corner in the back and very comfortable. It was also air conditioned , which with the weather being warm and humid, was a wonderful surprise. We had requested breakfast when we made our reservation. So glad we did! It's made to order and delicious. Unfortunately we had plans to meet friends for breakfast two mornings and told the folks before hand so they didn't expect us, There are several public areas where coffee or water is available. We will return.

This was my and my fiance's second stay at the Vermont Inn. We had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Micki, the new innkeepers of the Inn. We stayed in the white birch suite. The bed was extremely comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was perfect. Everything exceeded our expectations. Josh went above and beyond to help us find good fishing spots in the area and made me a wonderful gluten-free breakfast both mornings of our stay. They also had a variety of suggestions for local restaurants. The inn has a sunroom where you can read, play family games or put in a movie and snuggle on the couch. They also have a game room that offers foosball and air hockey. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to return. The only downside was that we had to leave.

Part business, part vacation. The Inn is the perfect place to do both. It's quiet and relaxing allowing you to focus on work when you need to. For play, you have a pool, hiking (skiing in winter). Breakfast was outstanding with Pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit, omelets, French toast and bacon...perfect start to the day. Micky and Josh are super friendly, knowledgeable about the area and great hosts! Highly recommend the Vermont inn
