This used to be a good store both the one that was here and the one over at Kinney. Since they bought this location the service and selection have steadily gone down. I regret going here every time I do. It’s bad when you get better service at Tractor Supply. Slow, rude, uninformed staff. The cashiers are so lazy. One guy sweeping almost ran into me three times and never apologized. Ask a question, forget about getting an answer.

We're lucky to have such a great Aubuchon Hardware store in Middlebury. We go there all the time -- great products and service. They have most everything in stock, and if they don't it's easy to order online and pick up at the store.
Most recently we bought a Weber grill -- it was put together and delivered by the store and we're very happy with it.
Special thanks to Ben, who put the grill together for us, and on many other occasions has exactly the answer to get us just what we're looking for. He's one of many helpful and knowledgeable employees there. That kind of personal service and expertise is what we appreciate in our local store. Thanks!

While shopping at Aubachon in Middlebury,VT, an employee, AnneMarie noticed me being confused.
She was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable in light bulb area, asking me clear questions about my specific need, comparing several products and explaining about differences.
Kudos to Anne Marie for excellent service!

I was waiting for somebody to help me with loading some sand into my car and as I waited, Skyler J was walking into work. He hadn't even clocked in yet I think and yet he stopped to help. I was really impressed by this. In fact this is the second time he's helped me and it was a noteworthy experience. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. He's a great employee and makes going to Aubuchon a pleasant experience every time.

Had an Amazon item to return. Was hoping to avoid drive to S Burlington. Megan very helpful in converting bar code to a return label, AND shared the secret of how to print a label, from home, should one be needed again in the future.

I ordered my mulch after the store was closed and early the next morning I got a text that my order was ready. Drove over and loaded up and was on my way. Easy-peasy!
