Sweet Cecily is a friendly store with over 30 years in business. It is an absolute gem in Vermont, described as a great big shop that is fun and quaint. The shop is full of adorable Vermont gifts and is the perfect place to pick up a gift for someone special. It offers gifts for all occasions, local artwork, and unique finds. Visitors will find treasures thoughtfully displayed every which way, including towels, art, jewelry, pottery, items for kids, plant lovers, cat lovers, and dog lovers. It features a great collection of all things Vermont and then some, with many beautiful, unique, high-quality, and reasonably priced items. It is not a regular cheap gift shop. A wonderful highlight is the back porch, which has a wonderful view of the town waterfall. The screened-in porch does not trouble photos. The staff provides the best customer service, always friendly, greeting visitors warmly. The experience often includes a few laughs, leaving with smiles all around. It is highly recommended, definitely worth a stop when in Middlebury or near Middlebury, and plan on spending a solid 45 minutes looking at everything.
