Seated at 6:10 and left at 6:43 after no communication, water, or ANYTHING from staff. I understand they were fairly busy, but they were severely understaffed and rushed. The servers focused on 2 parties only rather than checking in with water and then going back to the party.

We were skiing at Jay Peak and stopped for dinner. They have fiesta nights on Mondays and it was surprisingly good Mexican food for small town Vermont. Food was fresh, big portions, strong and big margaritas, and very reasonable pricing. We loved it, would definitely recommend if you are in the area! The restaurant is quite small, so you may have to wait a little, but it’s worth it!

My daughters and I loved it! During the week they serve Mexican cuisine and WoW! Best nachos and burrito ever! It’s home cooking prepared with a lot of love. Plus the non-alcoholic mango margarita was sublime! Inexpensive menu and very personalized service. The parking lot in the back can be very muddy so don't have your nicest white shoes! The toilets were really very clean. The place is small but very warm. Lots of take-outs, people seem to really like this restaurant.Parking: Behind not much room and maybe in the mud. Otherwise there is street parking.

My group of 4 was in the area for the weekend for snowboarding. This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host, as well as some locals. I also read some reviews beforehand and thought it would be a solid place. We called on a Saturday night to see if they had any openings and the person we spoke with hesitated but said to come for 7:45. I wish they had just told us they were full…we got there for 7:45 and waited at least 20 minutes after being seated before our server came by to ask for our drink order. She was very nice, however and I don’t blame her for the terrible experience. I’m guessing they were understaffed - but again, they should have just said they didn’t have an opening and spared us. I ordered the chicken Marsala and my bf ordered the maple pork chop which sounded delicious and we were both excited. We weren’t served our dinner until well after 9pm. As they brought the food out they said they replaced the mashed potatoes with baked potatoes since they ran out. We had no warning of this and my bf was upset because he would have asked for rice over a baked potato…I had 2 bites of the chicken Marsala and it was extremely bland and disappointing- I’ve made chicken Marsala myself that was 10x better, and I’m no chef. The pork chop was extremely dry (I tried a bite and it took over a minute to chew it and swallow) and the when the waitress asked if it was “worth the wait” he lied and said yes because he didn’t want to be rude. When my plate was cleared and I declined a box to take it home, no one asked if the meal was ok even though it was clear it was not. Expensive bill on top of it all. Not to mention the atmosphere is extremely weird - you’re stuffed into a small, cluttered old house essentially, with thrift store looking decor and cobwebs everywhere on the ceiling. We “joked” that we wished we had just stayed home and had frozen pizza instead. 2/10 - do NOT recommend.

Totally lucky find! Superb food, very fair prices, very popular with the locals but eating on the later side can help you avoid the crowds. What they do they do extremely well.

Really nice restaurant popular with locals and visitors. On the twice a week Mexican nights, they make really good Mexican dishes.

Ordered two drinks when we got there. I didn't like the cider I ordered so I asked the waitress for a gin and tonic. She said ok and also took our order at the same time. We waited and waited still no drink. About 30 mins later our food came out and still no drink. So once the food came out she asked if we needed ketchup or bbq sauce. My Gf asked for some bbq sauce and I asked if she could also bring my drink. She looked at me and said "Yeah ok" with a look of disguste and walked away. She came out minute's later with my gf's bbq sauce and still no drink. She then said oh I'll bring your drink right out. She then asked me if I wanted a double or single I said double and when I finally got my drink it was all tonic water and tasted like garbage and the lime was half brown. It took 30mins after we were done eating before she decided to ask if we wanted our check. Then when she comes back she says to my gf..I think I dropped your credit card on the floor back there let me go get it. My gf said yeah please go get my card. The waitress was very rude to myself and very nice to my gf. We are visiting from NY and next time we come out we will not be going back. The food was ok but not the best.

Waitress was pleasant to me but very rude, condescending, and demeaning to my girlfriend. It took over 25 minutes for waitress to get her her drink. My BBQ sauce was served before her drink even after we had asked about the drink when food was delivered. It took forever to get the check, once check was delivered she had acknowledged that she dropped my credit card on the floor along the way, and acted like it was no big deal. Very cold temperatures in the dining room. Food was okay.

Great food at a nice price, very generous portions. Abbigail offered great service & conversation. Sit down dining & bar too. Small parking lot, but I parked at post office & was not a problem. If you’re in the area & hungry, a must!

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is quiet country. The chef will stop by and say hello. This is a regular stop for me when I'm in the area. no matter what is on the menu or on the special board it's a great meal.
