First Trax is a great establishment and a top of the line shop. It offers everything from buying and renting skis and snowboards to bike repairs, with a great selection of winter, biking, and hiking gear. The equipment is top notch and the tuning and waxing service is expertly done. It is known for solid service by highly knowledgeable and very nice staff. The shop has great prices and a fair price on gear. It also features fresh baked pizza from a beautiful wood fire. This is a great spot and an awesome place to rent or buy, providing excellent service.

Great place near Jay Peak for your mountain activity gear needs. I stopped for an overnight tuning, needing sharpened edges and cold wax. Price was right and service was great! Would come back just for the apes ski pizza!
