“Beautiful traditional Inn that's almost 200 years old. I can see this place being rather toasty in the summer, but it was cozy during winter. Despite being old and having the charm of an old place (uneven floors, etc), the deluxe room was big, the king bed was comfortable and temperature, bathroom, etc were all good. There is also a continental breakfast that was included, starting at 7:30am.
Location is excellent as well, only a few minutes away from several restaurants less than 10min walk from a grocery store.
I only stayed here for one night but definitely see myself coming back, especially since it didn't break the bank. Hope this helps!!”

“I visited a friend...it seems ok but her room lock was broken THE WHOLE TIME she stayed! The a/c needs attending to and they sisnt clean or vacuum like they should. The room size is good and the location is close to everything.”

“Great value, comfortable beds. Basic amenities, good fan/AC, worked just fine for us! Friendly staff. Just ask for more pillows or towels if needed, if you have more than one or two people in your room- they got us another pillow right away, easy. No breakfast there, but the Maplewood Vermont Travelers Service Center/ Irving gas station just down the road is a great convenience shop & breakfast/lunch cafe.”

“the BEST customer service ! Seriously this staff is what I’d call irreplaceable-they know the city super well and they are truly so welcoming, friendly, and passionate about hospitality. Sherry and Valerie were angels who demonstrate the true Hilton standard of excellent customer service. ☺️The ladies at the front are special because they make it a personable interaction every time and remembered our names, where we were from, asked us how we enjoyed the activities we had planned etc. That kind of service can be hard to come by these days!
Erin & the other servers were also very helpful and efficient. I can’t wait to come back. Food was also delicious for breakfast and tasted fresh .
Room was perfect- updated bathroom with rainfalll shower head and marble flooring. Very good AC/heating + wonderful window views of Montpelier.
Housekeeping was reliable and assisted us with how to get to our room at checkin. Overall, 10/10 for the whole experience??”
