“the BEST customer service ! Seriously this staff is what I’d call irreplaceable-they know the city super well and they are truly so welcoming, friendly, and passionate about hospitality. Sherry and Valerie were angels who demonstrate the true Hilton standard of excellent customer service. ☺️The ladies at the front are special because they make it a personable interaction every time and remembered our names, where we were from, asked us how we enjoyed the activities we had planned etc. That kind of service can be hard to come by these days!

Erin & the other servers were also very helpful and efficient. I can’t wait to come back. Food was also delicious for breakfast and tasted fresh .

Room was perfect- updated bathroom with rainfalll shower head and marble flooring. Very good AC/heating + wonderful window views of Montpelier.
Housekeeping was reliable and assisted us with how to get to our room at checkin. Overall, 10/10 for the whole experience??”

“For a structure built as a stately home about 225 years ago, the room that we stayed in was remarkably solid with an ensuite bath with heater fan, walk-in closet, an anteroom with armoire, desk and table and kingsize comfy bed. Room was cooled by a portable AC. Fresh linen and towels plus toiletries including goat milk bar soap supplied. A common room is set up at the back of the hallway where vermont's coffee roaster blend can be brewed fresh, a public ref and microwave. Hot coco mix is also provided. The room opens to a patio withounge seats. The Inn also included a continental plus bfast ( selection of hot dishes like mini quiche, pancake and sausage) to start the day. Liked the location close to downtown shopping and dining spots. PS - no elevators for rooms on 2nd floor but stair case was not too difficult to use, the wrap around porch is closed for repair, after 9 pm front desk staff can be reached via phone and no, despite the Inn's age, we slept soundly.”

“Went to the Stowe Jazz Festival and got a room here to save a lot of money. This was well worth the 35 minute drive from Stowe. Great rooms, very clean and breakfast. The staff could not be friendlier. They were most helpful. Would go back again.”

“Great value, comfortable beds. Basic amenities, good fan/AC, worked just fine for us! Friendly staff. Just ask for more pillows or towels if needed, if you have more than one or two people in your room- they got us another pillow right away, easy. No breakfast there, but the Maplewood Vermont Travelers Service Center/ Irving gas station just down the road is a great convenience shop & breakfast/lunch cafe.”
