All I have to say is when we are homeless can we stay at your house? Thank you so much for absolutely nothing. You are a godsend to my family as we don't like to eat or have a warm place to sleep. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I have called this office for help multiple times and the last two times , Greg, has answered the phone, gave the standard answer and when you tell him he is not helping he says call your senator and hung up on me. Horrible customer service, Hey Greg, if you don't like working customer service get another job that might be a better fit. Hear they are hiring at Mcdonalds! would be a better fit for you.

The phone number is disconnected. This is an essential office and you can’t even make a phone call!

Been waiting on hold for over an hour, website wants you to use cell phone to sign in, can’t figure out who ID.me is supposed to be. No local office phone number. Driving in to see if we can speak to anyone in person, so frustrating!

I have been trying to call these people the entire week and even emailed. I have received NO response at all. You can not go without an appointment, so how the heck do I get the appointment! This is insane!

I’ve dealt with a lot of craziness from Social Security! There’s one female that works out front she helps whoever calls needing answers even after being told multiple different reasons over the course of 6-8 months it was literally something on there end that was the issue, the female (unsure of her name) was extremely helpful getting this all figured out! Only to then months later have issues again to find out in their end yet again even when I told them I have never worked at the place they were telling me was On file that my cousin who has the same first & last name as me their only defense was they do things by social security numbers yet when speaking to a specialist there, the issue was partly resolved when he took the pay stubs that weren’t mine but yep was definitely my cousin's!Seems to me like these numbers are something that defines us for things with the state as well federally!. & I get that everyone that works here is only HUMAN but before being dismissive & telling people that they are wrong that everything is done by social security numbers not names so mistakes like this could never happen!.would be nice for people to slow down when filing the paperwork for someone & make sure the information is correct for the certain individual that your filing for!. Your mistakes effect people who depend on having things correct in their files,& when they make mistakes it’s not corrected like it should be!.

Even when you ring the montpelier office during opening times, the recorded message instructs callers to ring back when the office is open! This has been going on for more rhan a year. Its very frustrating especially for the elderly or deaf. And while the recorded message advises callers to 'go online' if the caller needs to make an appointment this advice totally ignores the fact that many elderly blind or honeless people do not use or have access to the internet! As far as social inclusion abd helpfulness goes this recorded message doesnt cut it.

I called the Montpelier SS office and was pleasantly surprised to receive great service. My call was answered on the 2nd ring and the representative, Greg, was professional and printed the form I asked for within seconds, and was putting it in the mail the same day.

You wait on hold for 15 mins to speak to someone and then they can't give more than 5 mins to handle the call because their call queue is in the RED !!! Seriously !!!!!!!! I'm a Service Coordinator for a Human Service Agency. Good luck trying to get any help out of our local Social Security office !!!
