Post 2023 flood: As of Sept. 24, 2023, _this_ particular branch is closed due to the July flood, but OPEN is the drive through / ATM only a few buildings away at the corner of School St. and Main St. The School and Main branch also has a small lobby with a regular human teller. As a car-free resident of Montpelier, I'm extremely grateful that one of my downtown banks is open!

America;s most convenient bank? REALLY? Open 5 hours per day 5 days a week with closing time at 3 PM each midweek day is not remotely convenient. Especially when TD closed our local branch and then requires closing accounts be done in person at a branch that is more than 30 minutes drive away. Convenient? I think not!

This is a bit ranty but I walked in just wanting to exchange a $10 bill for a roll of quarters and they said they wouldn't if I didn't have an account because there was a fee... how is there a fee for that?

Best customer service ever. Everyone here greets me by name, answers my questions and gets things done fast and efficiently. Staff is always friendly and kind.

The staff at the main st Montpelier branch have been more than helpful on a couple of occasions where our bank accounts got hacked online. Mark, the manager, took time multiple times to help me resolve issues and Caroline is always a very friendly teller (my dog loves her too) just to mention a few. Thanks guys! And happy holidays

I'm remarkably unimpressed by the website not working for new account signup and the local branch telling me to come back later. I mean, off to a bad start here. Also they support spraying the North Dakota Indigenous peoples with fire hoses. Not convenient, more like frustrating time suck.

The staff here went above and beyond to help me with two different "crises" recently. I cannot recommend them more highly. Been banking there now since '09 and never plan to leave. Now that they're in Virginia it's even better because of our journeys there throughout the year.
