I bought a car from David McClellan, referred from a friend of his who told me he was a good guyI was in a hurry to leave and I had a dog so I decided to buy a used car to drive back home.. he told me that it was the best car in the lot and it was in perfect condition and it had no no no no no rust underneath... I trusted him because of being referred by his friend... We agreed on a price and then when I went to get the car he had decided that it was worth more and so I was short on time.. there were a couple of little small issues that needed to be fixed and he said he would do that before. It ended up costing $500 more than the agreed price.. when I broke down two times along the way the garage told me that the car was so rusted and wasn't safe to drive. I finally made it to my destination alive.. I called him and told him that the information he gave me and said over and over what a great car and it had no rust underneath.. that he had lied to me very clearly.. when I finally made it back to my destination I took it to my regular mechanic and he said that it was unsafe on the road and that I could not drive a car like that!!! David McClellan is a complete liar and thief. I ended up spending another thousand plus dollars just getting home because of having to stay at a hotel and pay mechanic to tape it together until I can get back. He is located in Danby Vermont.. I would suggest to never ever do any business with him or his mechanic who also swore to me that the car was great and they had done the extra work promised... Pure liars and thieves.. Consequently instead of taking a plane with my dog and buying the car it only cost me extra thousands of dollars!!!!!!!!! I called him and told him of the situation and he was very nasty condescending and rude to me, told me to bring the car back and he would give me my money back.. of course that was impossible!!!Mymie Oakleaf

I bought a car from this place a few years ago, a 06 Audi A4. Had the headlights wired in, the glove box was broken and still ge charged over the top prices. I was in a crunch and needed a car for work so i decided just to buy it, 6k spent, 4 months later the engine blew, I reached out multiple times and was ignored the entire time, i knew the car was a little rough around the edges but still purchased because he assured me the engine was in top top shape. The owner was not helpful and refused to talk with me. This was years ago but I have just read another post on social media claiming he did the same to their family. Just watch out because he cares too much about money, no moral compass.
