About Williamson's Sugar House
Williamson's Sugar House is a small, family-run sugar house on a third-generation farm. It is a real sugar house where old-fashioned maple syrup is made on a wood-fired evaporator, using wood from the farm. The owners are friendly and wonderful hosts, sharing information about the sugaring process and the farm's history. They show visitors the entire operation, from tap to jug, and offer tastes of delicious maple sugar crystals. They are also the only producer of sorghum syrup in Vermont. It is a highly recommended stop for a great visit and to buy some great syrup. Please contact to schedule a pickup time.

We had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours visiting today. John was a wonderful host, sharing information about the sugaring process and about the history of his farm and the area sugar business.
It’s great to be able to learn from a true family farmer rather than at a roadside tour-oriented shop.

One of the best stops on our trip. If you want to see a real sugar house this is the place. The owners were so friendly. They showed us the entire operation and answered all our questions. We bought some great syrup. Highly recommend!
