It's like a Lowe's and Home Depot, Walmart; and Woolworths, eBay, Amazon, and Etsy; and the northern tool, Sears roebuck, and Service Merchandise catalog all wrapped together... in a smaller set of buildings. To say this place has everything would only put a false limit on what is there. If you need a 2x4, tarp, battery for a tool, or a new pair of hunting boots... Come on in don't drive to three or four stores call them or so by here first. You will save a lot in gas and time.

If you want an authentic hardware store experience like the way things used to be before the super box stores, then this is it. Fernandez Hardware has everything you could imagine stocked on their shelves. Down to their squeaky wood floors this is the real Vermont Deal.

Family-owned hardware & miscellaneous store with everything you need. As another reviewer said on some other website, "If they don't have it, you don't need it". It's a little cramped in there and you could get lost easily, but the owners know where everything is and will gladly point you in the right direction. I've found exactly what I needed within a couple minute every time I've visited and had at least a couple options to choose from. Prices seem standard, so I'm more than happy to do my shopping at a place where my money will stay in town.

There is a lot to see and just about anything you could want. I can ask for an item and they know right where it is or at least offer to order it for you. The best part? The conversation. Saying hello to you and greeting you by name. Your not just a number or a customer to them. Your a neighbor and a friend.

Decided to NOT GO INTO THIS STORE. If the cluttered mess outside the doorway and debris surrounding the area is any indication of what it’s like inside....no thanks!It’s a mess and an eye-sore for anyone using the walking bridge path.Please consider cleaning up for the sake of your neighbors and have pride in the your place of business that looks so neglected.
