LAZY and inconsistent - half the time they don't even bother to try and deliver the packages, but claim they do. Other times they leave it outside the mailbox in the rain/snow with zero regard for the contents. When you say something they shrug it off like it isn't their problem.

Again my package arrived at the Northfield post office in the am of the day it’s supposed to be delivered and when I track it says will be delivered on Monday. Today is Saturday. Do they deliver with horse and buggy? I could go to post office and they will say either it’s on the truck or not ready for pick up. The funny thing is they never ask for any tracking number to even check. There the most disorganized post office I’ve ever seen.

ANDREW MYERS, the postmaster is trash, and running a garbage operation.Just the worst post office. The drivers routinely lie when they don't feel like delivering your package, and just check off random excuses."Driveway Inaccessible" on a sunny day with no snow."Delivered to PO Box" I don't have a PO Box. They just decided they were done for the day and didn't want to deliver it."Delivery Attempted." There was no delivery attempted. There was no signature required. No door tag. The driveway was completely clear.I don't know if they need to fire just the driver on my route, or clean house and fire everyone. Either way, these guys and the postmaster ANDREW MYERS, are absolute garbage. I've complained about this multiple times, and now they don't mark things off as "deliverable" or "delayed" until after it's too late to pick them up from the post office. If this happens again, I'm escalating this until someone gets fired. Once is forgivable. Four or more times a year, is inexcusable. If they want to slack off and provide trash service, stick to McDonald's. They're not good for much else.

Says delivery attempted but not possible, understandable with today's weather. The only problem is that I had two packages and one was delivered. Either it's total incompetence or they flat our lied and blamed me. Pathetic !!!!

When delivering packages, they mark them as delivered to sites like amazon, but they don't get delivered. And they do this so it gives the notification after the post office is closed, so you cant call and figure out what's going on.The screenshot shown is to show that it now says delivered. Post office hours for today are to close at 4:30pm. The package was never actually delivered.Far from the first time this has happened.

Show and disorganized, but in fairness, there is a labor issue there.

No better or worst than any other Vermont post office, a few of them have gone out of their way for me. This is a thankless job and has a ton of moving pieces, let's not be too hard on them.

Unprofessional, Argumentative, and Utterly Incompetent Deliver Drivers.Have asked multiple times for drivers to leave packages near the garage door or on the porch, but they keep either leaving them on something in the middle of the driveway or just on the grass in the yard along with leaving mail out of the mail box.I've stopped into the office and asked multiple times (including twice within the past month) for the drivers to use consideration and not to continue leaving my mail and packages where the have been, but nothing has changed.I was able to call over to our driver as he was leaving ny driveway this afternoon, after he had set my mail where I have asked for them not to leave it and was met with a very unprofessional hostility and argumentative behavior.Today, I called to speak directly to the Post Master and am currently awaiting a reply back. (Honestly, I assume the office member I had left my number with may not pass my message along). If you can, please stay clear of this mess of a Post Office. This location is a complete joke.

An order I made was sent to this post office by mistake and I called and made a service ticket with customer support early in the morning. The customer service rep sent the Northfield office a message about my package at 9 AM that day at the latest and told me that they would read it and redirect my package as I had requested by the end of the day or the next few days at the latest. I checked my tracking today to find that they had returned it to sender not 3 hours after my phone call, ignoring anything I had asked for in the email. I can only assume that they didn't read it or just didn't care, either way they couldn't be bothered to do the bare minimum of communication required to successfully do their jobs. Specifically ignoring a customer request that you had ample time and ability to react to isn't just bad customer service, its bad work ethic and disgustingly little interest in completing what should have been a pretty simple process. I've been to some really bad post offices but this one is just empty of any interest in doing their job. No one should use this post office, not even if you live in Northfield

None of their phone option lead to talking to an actual person. I went in prior to my package being delivered it was already days late and they wouldn’t hold it for me to pick up upon opening. Bad service far too slow and bad hours.
