Fogg's Lumber & Hardware is an Andersen Windows & Doors dealer and a great local hardware store. The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful, ready to assist from the moment customers walk in. They talk over the pros and cons of options and provide excellent service, including assembling and delivering items. The store packs a nice variety of hardware items and can order anything else needed. They have a great selection of lumber in a satellite building, with consistently better lumber quality than other retailers. They also have surprisingly great selections for a small local store, including a knowledgeable paint specialist. The management is responsive, addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
The staff at ACE in Norwich is amazing. Took my mom over to look at electric snowblowers before a storm, from the moment we walked in they were ready to help. They talked over the pros and cons of each option, they even assembled and delivered same day so she would have it for the coming snow the next day.
