Outstanding service by Winston! He made our night with his caring, sweet disposition. We came for our 20th anniversary celebration and the meal was very very good. You can tell that the chef knows what the heck he’s doing with the combination of flavors in the dishes and also desserts! The man behind the bar was super friendly. There was an overall feeling of being very well cared for by the staff! (The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because the fabrics in the booths were very stained and soiled & the windows needed attention.) We would definitely eat here again!

What. A. Gem. I'm happy to say I've found my favorite restaurant in the Upper Valley, in Norwich. Chef Bruce is charming, and his crew Johnny and Morgan took great care of us. Everything from the drinks to dessert are well inspired, flavorful, and mouth watering presentation. I'm so impressed. I had a Maitaki mushroom steak - just WoW. Call for you reservation and go visit!

Bruce MacLeod runs perhaps the best Fine Dining restaurant in the Upp Valley. His preparations are fresh, inventive, and classic. The dining rooms bring an air of Victorian dining rooms and are comfortable and relaxing. We come there from the Seacoast all the time. Worth the trip!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options, posts in appetizers and entrées.Parking: Limited number of spots but have never been without a space

Great menu, rich and unusual flavors, delicious food, exceptional deserts - one of the best dining experiences in central Vermont.

The steak was cold and tough. The mussels were tasteless. All of our meals were cold, possibly because they were short staffed. The waitress tried hard but we won't be back.

I had the Hanger Steak au poivre and for dessert the panacotta…….both were fantastic. It is a very lovely restaurant but I think they could benefit if the music was more jazz and less 80’s bad dance music.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner with perfect service. Our dietary preferences are opposite—my friend is classic “meat and potatoes,” while I am vegetarian—but we found a variety of great options. Each dish was wonderfully executed, through to the homemade ice cream. The host, bartender, and waitress were each friendly and attentive. A flawless evening. Thank you.

This little gem of a restaurant exceeded our expectations. We called ahead for our date Nate reservations and had the most romantic nook as our table. I had a ribeye and she had a special Asian dish with tofu and rice noodles. We loved both of our meals, the antique feel and our romantic night for two. I would highly recommend. The cocktails were top notch, get the living's easy!

I have been to this restaurant dozens of times over the last 15 years and it is generally good. After spending $200 on a celebratory meal where the food was luke warm and uninteresting, the bill came and had a $6+ "non cash fee" on the bill because I was paying by credit card. When I asked about it I was told that"it is normally written the menu, but wasn't on the new ones", "There's a sign on the door when you come in that I should have seen" and the waiter then brought a table tent card that had an explanation of the fee on it as if I should have seen it, except this information as stored at the Host's desk and no one saw that until after the meal.

We are vegetarians and were to happy with the entree choices but the small plate choices for vegetarians -- making a great meal -- were wonderful with plenty of variety and imagination.

The $35 wine bottle ( a Pinot from New Zealand) is probably the worst wine I ever had in a restaurant. I couldn't go past a third sip of the first glass, left it behind (and nobody cared to ask if there was something wrong). The $25 steak was served almost cold. The $17 burger was the smallest patty I saw since I was ordering from kids menu.. And they charge an extra 3.5% when you pay with a credit card (any credit card) - are we suppose to carry cash to dinner?
