Staff is there(usually) they are helpfull(if its not too much trouble) its comfortable(except when the a/c doesn't work) its clean(at least 1x per week)

I like the Pownal Dollar General better than the Bennington Dollar General.. It's much cleaner, better organized and NOT AS BUSY ALL THE TIME.. It's worth the trip to Pownal to shop there...

Well closed again with no sign and why ? They were there and wouldn't answer. Nice having the store if they're open more then closed.

This store is a great resource for many local people as well as those who pass through our town from surrounding areas and States for we boarder both NY, and MA. The store is clean ,friendly and organized far more the others that I have been in . It's a little congested right now with all the new adjustments and expansion in inventory, but I'm confident they will get it into shape . The only complaint I have is that I wish the merchandise was not from China but rather from our country where jobs are needed as well as business to keep our Nation growing . We give other countries to much of the business, And not enough to our own country that is struggling to stay afloat.
