Antidote Books is a cozy, well-curated bookstore located in Brattleboro. It offers a unique selection of books, with a focus on poetry and other literary titles, along with a $3 cart for readers. Visitors enjoy browsing the dreamy environment while sipping coffee, especially their cortado with oat milk. The shop is also known as part of a dual space with Duchess Coffee, a coffee shop that roasts its own micro lots of beans, creating a perfect spot to start a walk and explore the main street. Although the original used bookstore has closed, Antidote Books remains an adorable place to browse and shop for literary books and enjoy good coffee in a charming setting.
Well curated selection ranging from amazing and niche coffee table books to a $3 cart for readers. Loved sipping my coffee and sifting though the books.
Must stop and awesome spot to start your Brattleboro main walk and shop!

Such a dream coupling of exquisite coffee with gorgeous books. Essentially: paradise.

It was a very nice, small used bookstore with an unusual selection of new literary books. The coffee was also good (though no indoor seating). However, it is no more, and the location has been cleaned out. The owners have opened Dutchess Coffee in Brattleboro, but no used books.
