“This small coop is truly a gem. I initially thought it would be larger, but it certainly isn't. However, it has some fantastic features. They offer a plentiful produce section and a hot and cold food court that serves homemade soups, sandwiches, and a wide variety of dishes. It's a great place to find that something you might have forgotten during your grocery store trip. I particularly love the area; there is a farmers market right outside the establishment during the summertime, where I have bought some great items as well.its definitely worth checking out if you're in the Putney area”
“My bride and I stopped in this weekend on one of our serendipity drives. We had stopped at the Retreat Farm Market for some cheese tastings and the conversation turned to wine pairings. One of the service people suggested some great choices. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about wine having lived most of her life in Oregon. She encouraged us to take a 15 minute drive north to this shop. Serendipity is such a wonderful thing. This shop was amazing. Not so much for the selection. Though it is extensive. But for the owners who quite simply are incredible. We visit wineries and vineyards often. It's one of our favorite things to do. If we are on a road trip enjoying scenic roads and see one we almost always stop. We've met so many interesting people with great knowledge about their wines and willing to share that knowledge. The Green Mountain Wine Shop is a must see if you're ever in the Brattleboro area on scenic route 30 heading north. Their knowledge and willingness to share it is 2nd to none. We live a bit over an hour away but are already looking forward to our next visit. Maybe a stop at the covered bridge on the way and a drive farther north to explore what's there. Charlton Heston once said Sometimes life drops blessings in your lap without your lifting a finger.”
“Windham Wines is certainly worth the visit! It is right off of main roads, so it is easy to get to and well worth the time. We went in with hopes to buy a nice Cabernet, and the owner showed us around the selections with ample knowledge and with really great price values. We will definitely make this a habitual stop on our future trips to Vermont.”
“Check prices and availability online before going to the store, then bring your list and product numbers with you. The staff will help you find whatever they have in stock. Convenient location, right on Epsom Circle, easily accessed from either NH-28 North or US-4 westbound. Note: you can't turn into the parking lot going eastbound on US-4, nor can you turn left (east) onto US-4 when exiting - use the Route 28 access.”

Liquor Stores
“The store in front may be open however the Redemption Center out back has different hours. I took a photo just incase they are not listed under the stores listing. These hours took effect last year(2022) including days they are open and holidays they observe.”
“Everyone in Maine loves the liquor stores in New Hampshire because of the low prices and not having to pay taxes is certainly an added plus. Unfortunately for me I am not a big liquor drinker, but my wife was drawn to the advertisement of discounted wines. I did take a look around while she spent time searching through all the different varieties of wine as we both enjoy a sweet wine. We were hopeful that we would discover some here and we did as we purchased a couple of bottles. Oh yeah, not to mention I met Big Papi, well at least I took my photo with his life-size cardboard cut out!”
“Pancakes are unbelievable, dinner plate size, with filling whole grains served with whipped salted butter and local maple syrup...great start and excellent for sharing. And did I mention they're inexpensive! All of the breakfast options were great. Must visit... really a quintessential general store”
