Worker within the building was nice! I’ve never had an issue going there.One of the delivery workers has proven to be pretty lazy and careless. On multiple occasions we have received mail for other residents, and have had packages damaged. If it doesn’t fit in the mailbox and has a do not bend sticker, probably a good idea to not ram it in the mailbox. I can count multiple times this happened. It quite literally busted my mailbox open and I’ll need a new one once I can afford one. If anything I shouldn’t have to be the one to replace it nor will I replace it until there’s a worker I can trust to respect my property. I also wouldn’t recommend leaving a box in a snow pile (five steps away from the porch), luckily the item inside was wrapped with plastic. I’d rather have it left at the post office for pick up. I’m fed up and so are many others I’ve spoke to. I’ll take this review down once the issue is remedied, Hopefully this is taken into consideration.

I have filed complaints. Our delivery driver has lied about inaccessible driveway or road which was cleared and plowed or attempted delivery but nobody home when both my wife and I were home. This is totally unacceptable! Disciplinary actions need to be enforced! No excuses!

I love this post office. It's my preferred location outside of "major city" Keene in NH.Kim is the standout - and deserves a raise. Chris, on the other hand, is the definition of a curmudgeon. Has been all winter.I asked to use a tape dispenser to send some pottery I recently made to friends throughout the globe. He was a sassafras and said it was a curtesy! Dude, since January me and my business partners have spent easily 10k with USPS and your location, and you're forcing me to buy the cheap USPS $2.50 tape. I hope Kim can train him, get a raise, and Chris gets some anger management training, because he does mean well.

This is possibly the worst run post office I have ever experienced. The postmaster, Michelle and front desk cashier, Damien need serious training on how to treat their customers. They treat customers with utter disdain and take no responsibility whatsoever for lost mail, packages, basically anything post office related. I have not been back there for 4 years. I go elsewhere, where I am greeted with a smile and a “Hi there!”Apparently Michelle and Damien think their jobs are secure and as a result there is no need to be kind, courteous and efficient. Thankfully we have the best mail deliverer, Margo, who without fail delivers our mail and packages in a professional manner, is kind and cares about the customers on her route. She delivers packages TO OUR HOME.We always can tell when Margo is on vacation because the subs Michelle hires ALWAYS puts mail in the wrong boxes, deliver packages, etc. ( for those who don’t know: UPS delivers packages to this inept post office and is ultimately delivered ( or not) by the Putney PO). When this happens mail gets “lost”, or left on the side of the road near my trash can.Yesterday several packages were left by the bank of mailboxes just ready for someone to steal during the holidays as our street’s mailboxes are not near most homes . Same mailboxes which have been vandalized over the years.Personally, I am tired of dealing with the Machiavellian ways of this poor excuse for a post office. I read a review from a local business owner who sang the unrealistic praises of this post office. She forgot to mention her business is literally across the street from the post office.If I could give zero stars, I would.I

Years ago the Putney post office was a friendly place with excellent service. Since Michelle Langley has been post mistress and Damian has been at the front counter service has been unfriendly and rude. I will no longer buy my stamps and mail my packages in Putney, and will take my business elsewhere. Attempts at problem solving with Michelle have been difficult, and sometimes lacking in truthfulness. The only bright light is our friendly and dedicated mail carrier, Margo, who is fabulous and competent in a way that I wish the entire staff were.

"delivery attempted" was NOT attempted. They say "maybe your box was full" - it's not full. It's a huge mailbox and we check it several times a day just to get out of the house. They say "maybe no one was home to sign for it" I have three kids that can't even go out to school! Of course we're home. We've been only at home for the last 9 months!! They're just lazy and not a business so they don't care about service. Who doesn't love and admire UPS and FedEx?! Those guys care! They hustle! They work for satisfaction and business!! Go Brown!! Close the USPS

Earlier this fall was the 1st time the Putney USPS ever missed a delivery and I've been a customer for 50 yrs.! Giving them 4 stars for effort but they have missed several days recently. Hopefully they'll get back on track next Spring! My Ebay customers have been understanding so far. Wishing all a Restful Holiday!!

Horrible service, said they had my package out for delivery. It never came so when I called back and talked to the same guy (Damien) he refused to help and hung up on me! Been waiting for 10 days on a package that we paid to cleave come in three.Was yelled at my the woman who works there too.
