I thought this place was really fun and a great place for kids. It was fun seeing all the birds and learning about them as well. I’m only giving 4 stars cause there were so many kids that weren’t being respectful and pushed into me while I was going down from the tree top view with my 8 month old son in my hands, as well as other parts of the place we couldn’t enjoy because other children weren’t willing to share the space. Not really the businesses fault though, that’s more a lack of supervision on the parents but still made the experience less enjoyable.

We were excited to get out on a sunny fall day and see some raptors. Entry fee was $19. If you're a senior you save a dollar. There are shows throughout the day but we never caught one. Lots of walking trails and the Canopy walk was definitely worth the trip. Very cool. Other than that it was a little underwhelming for us. Sure, seeing the raptors up close was very cool. A little sad too though knowing they had been injured and now must be in an enclosure for the rest of their lives. I understand that it is an educational tool. And speaking of educational, there were numerous groups of kids around who were extremely loud and disrespectful. I heard one tattling on another for spitting off the Canopy Walk. Really?

I love to photograph birds so this was a fun place to visit. They do good work here to rehab birds and have several large raptors to view. There are beautiful trails and various activities that take place here. It's well worth the 19 dollar admission. Check out thier website. I'd love to come back. It's very close to Quechee Gorge, another great park to visit.

I came here on a dreary day, and I still had an amazing time! They have an area to view the birds - eagles, hawks, owls, crows, ravens, songbirds, and even some gorgeous Bluejays! They have a good amount of walking trails through the forest that are easily maneuvered. Their forest canopy walk is a bunch of fun! They even have an area with fairy homes and have the option to make your own!I love how all of their birds are not releasable - so it truly is an incredible place! I will be returning, and I highly recommend others visit this amazing center!

Had such a great time here! We thought it was good for all ages, and mobility levels. The treetop walk is absolutely STUNNING and the views from the very top are beautiful. It was fun seeing all of the different birds they had, and there was tons of information about the various species.

We recently moved to the area and being animal lovers we HAD to check VINS out! What an amazing facility, the exhibits were clean, the birds all looked healthy/happy with plenty of enrichment items in their enclosures. Some of the trails were closed due to the threat of flooding, totally understandable, we already have plans to come back in the fall. The boardwalk through the forest is lovely! Well built and well maintained, the spiders web/net was a blast! My 5 year old loved it! We also really enjoyed the turtle walk and raptor program!

Small but nice gift shop with a decent selection of trinkets. The canopy trail was fantastic. Not quite recommended for anyone afraid of heights because the main trail is about 43 feet up and the highest point in around 100 feet up. The ground trails are all shaded and easy to walk. The aviary is cool with a few birds I’ve never seen and the raptor exhibit is pretty cool. Two types of eagles, at least four types of owls, two types of vultures and several falcons. Feeding time was also cool. The reptile room had only three different species. Two types of titles and a corn snake I was able to pet. They have a wild flower field you can walk through that attracts a ton of pollinators. The whole place was pretty nice as a whole and would recommend going back.

Great stop for the naturalist or nature lover. The trails were short, sweet, and reasonably maintained. I personally enjoyed the raptor exhibit, and I was lucky enough to witness the 'live feeding' event. I also really loved the 'forest canopy walk' - nice view of Dewey's Pond from the look out tower!

VINS is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with your kids. The bird show was fun and interesting. I love the fact they're helping to rehabilitate various species of owls, hawks and other birds. The nature walk and platform overlooking the area from 50+ feet up is a must-do! Overall it was a great educational experience. We definitely will be back!

This is such a wonderful place to visit for the whole family. There is a small reptile room, birds of prey exhibits, some walking trails, a huge web the kids can play in, and beautiful views from the top if you're brave enough to go up all the way. Plan on spending at least 1 1/2- 2hrs exploring and bring a picnic lunch for after! Close to the Quechee Gorge and Antique Mall, you'll have an entire day of easy fun.

I love this place so very much! Everytime I visit Vermont I make sure to go visit. The staff is wonderful, the birds are beautiful and well taken care of. They do educational programs and those are super informative and fun. The elevated boardwalk is fun to walk on with amazing views and you are literally in the tree tops. All nature lovers must visit! Would highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Truly. It is a bird rescue/rehabilitation center and the birds are very well cared for. Redemption for their past unfortunate circumstances, and we did appreciate that their stories were shared so that everyone can know how they came to be at the center. We also loved the forest canopy walk. What a unique way to experience life in the treetops like a bird! Definitely worth a visit. Give yourself at least 3 hours. Just around the corner from Quechee Gorge State Park.
