Absolute gem of an Inn, perfectly located off scenic Route 100 on the town green of a quintessential small VT village. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean and equipped with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the delicious and convenient dinner at Docs Tavern connected to the Inn. Had such a great stay, already booked the same room for our next ski trip!

Stayed at the Inn, which was super nice and convenient for our weekend plans (hitting sugarbush and Killington mountain). The room was clean and comfortable. The pub next door was a lot of fun. Sadly, there is no menu online so we didn’t think they had an extensive food menu. When we mentioned a different restaurant that we had reservations for that evening, the owners entire demeanor changed. She got very nasty and kept saying loudly “I guess our restaurant is only good enough for them to get sides.” Presumably saying that to her husband who was the chef. The conversation was never meant to offend the host. She then was aggressive to us the entire other half of our stay. I would not return to this establishment solely based off of the nasty attitude of the owner.

I love staying at this little spot for weekenders in VT. The shower is hot with good pressure and the beds are comfy. The staff is THE BEST. It’s at an easy 25-minute midpoint between Sugarbush and Killington. And the kicker- Doc’s Tavern downstairs. Never misses; has some of the best tasting and heartiest meals in the Northeast. The meatloaf is a life changer, people!

Ridiculously expensive . Small Order of fies and a Pabst and tip....$17. I think I will pass on this place.

We live over in South Royalton, VT and love coming here. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had, the cod just melts in your mouth. The staff is always super friendly, ignore the reviews that say otherwise. The interior feels cozy and welcoming. Thank you guys!!

Doc's Tavern: gem in Rochester. Beautiful little place. Great food. Regina, the owner, are awesome. Great food. Menu changes often. Stop in on the way to/from Sugarbush!

Food & drinks: The food wasn't very good and the service was the bare minimum. Wouldn't recommend. I didn't stay at the hotel.

Excellent food! This small town bar is putting out perhaps the best burger I've eaten in New England. Soft buns, fresh salad, pink meat... this chef knows what he is doing. Hand cut chips are just the icing on the cake.Great range of beers on tap. I'd be happy with just a few draft options, but there is the range here to enamour any craft aficionado. You can see why the place is filled with people. It's a local gem that's worth traveling for.Food & drinks: Exceptional food considering the location. You do not expect a great cook, let alone a chef in this rural setting. So we were surprised and thoroughly impressed!

Regina is extremely rude to her customers, embarrassingly slow at her job, and the food takes triple the normal waiting period at any 1 star restaurant.Having more than 5 people arrive at one time = double the waiting time. Food is way overpriced and sometimes comes out cold. The male bartender is great at his job for the way he’s treated.

We called them to ask if we can order for takeout. The lady said if you come in personally, we can do. When we went, we were denied takeout food at this place saying that they were busy. Very rude staff with no customer care attitude.

Welp. We lucked out. Oven-fired pizza across the street at the general store: closed. Soup, salad & bread at the book store around the corner: closed.I had a couple crisp tasty draft brewdogs along with fried pickles & Thai sesame chicken wings with housemade chipotle mayo, blue cheese, and ranch sauces. My special lady friend had a chicken and artichoke pasta dish (base was similar to a spicy bolognese sauce). She also had a Rose Margarita. Glorious across the board. ?

The tavern was delicious. Super nice people. Nice outside seating but sat inside. Pool tables! Avacado was not ripe on my poke bowl but otherwise a healthy portion of tuna and well balanced flavors. We ended up going twice. They got burgers which were huge and tasty.

This inn is amazing. It’s modern while still being quaint. The host is incredible!! I admired her beautifully peonies and she went into her garden to pick a bouquet for me!!Food & drinks: The restaurant in the inn is amazing. Food was completely home made!! One of the best experiences I’ve had and we travel quite a bit!!
