Village Grocery & Liquor is a local grocery store that has taken over the space previously occupied by Mac's. Despite not being as well-stocked as the previous establishment, the new owners have worked hard to maintain a good selection of both basic necessities and hard-to-find items. The deli section is a highlight, and they even have an 802 Liquor store inside to cater to adult beverage needs. The staff is described as very friendly, and they have been receptive to customer requests for specific items. While the prices may be a bit higher than some would like, this is to be expected in an area where the store has a virtual monopoly. Overall, Village Grocery & Liquor is a welcome addition to the community, providing a convenient one-stop-shop for groceries and other essentials.
It would be nice to put up a sign saying "Village Grocery " shopping only. There are times when you can't find a place to park. Or paint the parking spaces.

It was a loss to the town to see Mac's go, but the transition has been seamless. Still the same great folks around with an unusually good selection of both the basics and hard to find items. The deli section rocks and they even have an 802 Liquor inside to fulfill any adult beverage needs.

This is a great local grocery store with a produce section and a Deli counter. It's a real shame it'll be closing soon.
