What a Vermont Gem, this bookstore and bakery is the cutest place to grab breakfast or coffee and sit down and enjoy a book. The food is delicious and all local and house made.

Always something vegan to eat, but more in the health food ahead and veggies on fresh bread vein than complex meals. Nothing wrong with that, but the trip is for Rochester and the bookstore, not vegan treats specifically.

We stopped in during our stay in Vermont twice. First we had lunch, the homemade soups & sandwiches were delicious. We enjoyed the coffee & Chai latte. We stopped the next morning for coffee & hot cider and ate our scones to go.
