Well, where do I begin!! Let’s see… We put a $4900 deposit down on a BIG TEX body and crane in October of 2022. We were told at that time it was a 16 week delivery time, so that would have brought us to approximately end of March 2023. March came and went without any communication of said body and crane system. We called and checked on it and were advised that it had a completion date of the end of June. They even said that they were going to send someone down there to pick it up and drive it back to VT to save time. End of June came and went without any communication again. Well than the flood happened in Barre VT July 10th. We completely lost everything down the river and flooded with 6 feet of water. We called Riley Brown (our salesman) on July 12th and explained our situation, that we lost our install truck in the flood so we can’t wait any longer for this body a crane to come in! He checked on the delivery date again and now it was going to be the end of October 2023. We needed ASAP.Riley found a Reading body that he “get here right away, just need your approval”So we said go ahead even though it was not what we had ordered, we had no other option. I don’t know what you think “right away” means but it is certainly not 3 weeks. We had to pay an additional $1000dollars in freight to get it here. I asked why we had to pay that since this is not our issue and this has been going on for months now. Then we were told that the paint guy that does the work for them was going to start right on it this weekend. 1 weekend turned into 2 weekends etc… etc… so by this time we had had enough, we have a brand new cab and chassis Dodge 1 ton Dodge sitting in storage and paying a monthly payment on! Since we had no install truck we were forced to use our personal truck to be able to work and this truck by far is not set up to haul that much weight. We have already had to replace a leaf spring and it has only been used for 1 month.So we were fed up when we got the news of the date be extended out AGAIN we canceled our order and asked first our $4900 back. The manager Kelly Riley told us that she would make the request and she would get back to us. And that she doesn’t understand why we are upset and want to cancel the order. Really…. You don’t understand, Oye.So after waiting for a week I requested an update on the status of the deposit check. We received an email back stating that Big Tex will not be returning deposit! WHAT!!! We are taking legal action but want to spread the word that this place sucks!!!!

We called this company with a DPF/DEF issue - so there is not a lot of time to spare when this happens....they were super friendly, I believe the service advisers' name was Ashley.... extra helpful and took us in as an urgent repair - terrific service, pricing was fair, no extra charges for being so prompt. Would highly recommend and definitely go back. Thanks to everyone there!

All the way around my experience with lucky’s has been incredible in comparison to other dealers. Sales is incredibly patient and cater to any need you have in spec’ing out new units and buying used ones. The finance department will do everything in their power to get you the best financing possible. Service department is efficient and fair and won’t just sell you work that isn’t necessary just to line their pockets like other dealers. Luckys have themselves a customer for life now.
