I’ve been a loyal SoRo Aubuchon shopper for over five years — it’s been, by far, my preferred store. the people have been so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful as I’ve taken on so many homeowner projects. it has always been one of my pup Lola’s favorite outings. almost everyone knows her by name and me as “Lola’s mom”.
unfortunately, the store has NOT been the same without Jess (the former manager), who was always smiling and out and about in the store offering to help and getting to know people in our community. going to Aubuchon was truly an enjoyable experience for so many years — something I never say about shopping or running errands. but now, dogs have been banned and the vibes are just not what they were.
please bring back Jess and bring back dogs.

I had borrowed a chainsaw from a neighbor. Unfortunately after about 10 cuts the chain came off. Luckily I had done most of the work I had originally borrowed it for.
I didn’t want to return the saw in the condition it was in so I brought it down to Aubuchon in S Royalton. I spoke with a gentleman named Tim in the tool rental/repair area. He let me know the machine needed a new chain and showed me the problem. I agreed to the repair. He told me it wouldn’t take long and that he would do his best to fit it into their busy schedule.
To my surprise, I got a call later in the day saying the work was done.
Two thumbs up to Tim at Aubuchon for understanding I really felt bad and wanted to get the machine back to a generous neighbor who let me borrow the chainsaw. It’s so nice to know there are people out there like Tim who do a great job. You’re lucky to have him at Aubuchon!

Recently I approached my neighborhood Aubuchon Ace store about them helping me host a fund raiser. The manager Jess and her mother Audrey who also works there spoke tome about doing a bake sale. I agreed although I don't know many folks in town yet. It was to raise money for a local 50 YO man on the waiting list for a new heart!
They not only supported my idea but spoke several times about the upcoming event I was growing very nervous about.
The entire store was welcoming of us and so helpful with any of our needs. We made over $800 at the bake sale. They held and ran our raffle for another full week helping us get over $1,000 in total for this couple in need.
Thank you Aubuchon Ace for being the kind of friendly neighborhood store that cares about the people they serve. Thank you one at all that works there for your kindness and extra work to support us!

I am new to town and this gentleman came to me and asked if I needed help, he helped me with some issues I was having with my windshield wiper fluid. He found a solution for me and made sure I left with everything I was needing. He also offered to give me more info about other places in town I may need… to me he went above and beyond. I then found out he was the assistant manager which he definitely should be as his customer service was spot on. Best experience I have ever had at any ACE Hardware ever. Since we aren’t allowed to leave more than one review per Google I just wanted to say that I have been back and met the manager and a super nice young girl at the counter, they were so helpful and even let me feed the cute cat a treat. It really is a great place to shop and I am so glad they are here! Thank you!!

Every time I walk in and look like I need assistance, I always get someone asking if I need help. Even if I come in just to see Poppy or Mason, I'm always greeted. The last time I came in, Ethan was a great help for showing me where the screws were for the bathroom shelf I was putting up.
