My wife and I stopped in when we were visiting the area from out of state. Excellent selection and fair prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spent time answering all of my questions.I wish there were gun shops like this in CT.

I've bought a couple rifle from Cragin's. Everytime the staff was polite and I had a good time. Some reviews are from people mad that they bought a bad gun or ended up with a lemon. I'm here to say those are the exceptions to the standard.Prices are fair, and for some more antique firearms their prices are lower then the competition.It's a classic VT store, family operated and you can feel right at home.If you want the classic mom & pop gunshop experience there's no better place then Crain's!
