Have family and friends working for the Nissan brand and they've given it awesome reviews, this was a factor in my decision to visit Garveys Nissan in Rutland, VT. to purchase my next new vehicle. I was looking to go from a car back to a truck and was finding Nissan offered excellent value and pricing compared to other brands . Josh Eugair was my salesman A++ is my rating for him, friendly , knowledgeable on his products and really treated me top notch . If your in the market for a new vehicle ask for Josh and tell him I sent you please , you won't regret it.

Cody was such an amazing help and really took the time to listen to what we were looking for in a vehicle, and then showed us as many options as we needed to see. Finance department and docs smooth and fast. This is the second car that I’ve purchased from a Garvey dealer and I will be back again!

Cody and the whole team were extremely patient with us as to literally holding a vehicle for over a week due to a life event. Very knowledgeable, very detailed, very very personable, he went above and beyond his job description alone. I will be coming back to purchase more vehicles without a doubt so thank y'all for the help. When they schedule out maintenance for the vehicles very flexible on there schedule. This is my 2nd and 3rd purchase for vehicle thru this dealership. Extremely family friendly

Santa Baby, Cody Parker and the team at Garvey Nissan made my Christmas and helped me get into an updated 2024 Nissan Pathfinder. I was super impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the entire team. Cody was very knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions. Garvey Nissan's Negligence Could Have Killed UsWe would never, ever purchase another vehicle from Garvey Nissan. Our SUV has been in for service countless times, and the worst part is dealing with the utterly inept service department. Every time you call, your call just goes to voicemail. There are never any loaner vehicles available and communication is disgustingly horrible. There are so many better dealerships with work with, we would never transact with this third rate dealership again.Although our experiences have been atrocious, I'm now forced to leave a review because Garvey's most recent negligence could have KILLED US.Last week, we brought our (Garvey-purchased) 2021 Nissan SUV into a local tire shop to have snow tires put on. We were informed that the front ball joint was dangerously loose. This was never disclosed during our last service appointment at Garvey. We don't know if the issue didn't exist then, or if it just wasn't checked. Given Garvey's incompetence, we suspect the latter. We immediately called Garvey (straight to voicemail) to get the vehicle in for repair. When they returned our call, we were told to "drive at our own risk" instead of being told to immediately bring the vehicle in and being given a loaner while Garvey waited for parts. We loss use of the vehicle while the vehicle sat in our garage waiting to be fixed. They serviced the vehicle and supposedly made the necessary "repairs."Here's where it gets negligent and dangerous - we were given the vehicle back in a state that was not suitable or safe for driving. We picked up the vehicle and while driving it home, we detected a grinding noise. We took the vehicle out later in the day and not only did the grinding persist, the brakes began failing. We needed to press the brakes very hard for the vehicle to even begin slowing, and even then they were delayed and malfunctioning. After Garvey worked on the vehicle, the brakes were severely and dangerously delayed. The "ABS Malfunction" and "AWD System Failure" lights came on. After we felt that we could get into a terrible accident with the vehicle in its current state, we immediately took it home and contacted Garvey. We noticed the vehicle was leaking a goopy, dark oil from the wheel area all over our garage. Garvey took the vehicle back in, but never disclosed what they did wrong. They said they'd need to "mail" us the service documentation. They refused to apologize for their negligence or make this right in any way.WHY DID GARVEY RELEASE A VEHICLE TO US THAT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE? Why did Garvey not test drive our vehicle before risking our lives? This demonstrates the Garvey ethos - risk the lives of customers in the name of incompetence and negligence. This is shameful and the fact that our lives were put at risk is unforgivable. This dealership needs to lose its affiliation with Nissan. We don't feel it's safe to purchase/service a vehicle at Garvey Nissan. The employees are inept and the fact that we could have been killed due to their negligence is outrageous.Would you take a risk with Garvey Nissan?

Customer from the Burlington area. Well worth the ~2 hour drive. I advise all prospective Nissan owners to do the same. It’s far and away your best option in VT. Considered switching to a different brand back in 2021 after some unfortunate experiences with another Nissan dealer, but Garvey Nissan reeled me back in. Excellent service. All the workers are so nice and respectful of your wishes and constraints. Cody P seamlessly upgraded me to a great new lease this morning. Complementary coffee, cold drinks, and snacks. Mobile updates on services and repairs. Couldn’t ask for a better experience unless they were giving the cars away for free.

Cody Parker at Garvey Nissan in Rutland is part of a team that is an absolute pleasure to do business with. They are professional, courteous, and are matter of fact on the business end of buying a vehicle. Cody went above and beyond to find the right vehicle for me and the transaction was fair and up front. No games at all and received a fair deal in a crazy market. Would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or slightly used vehicle.

Absolutely terribly run business, I would suggest avoiding at all costs. I dropped my brand new 2022 Infiniti off at Garvey Nissan in perfect condition for an oil change and it was returned to me with a huge chip in the windshield and sulfur residue all over the paint on the rear. I kindly expressed my concerns to the service manager, George, who said he would return my call and he never did. This was handled extremely unprofessionally by said manager George and service advisor Lisa, who never returned my call after leaving a voicemail. Originally a local to Rutland, Vermont; I now live out of state and had to immediately leave to get back to work and Garvey Nissan has caused a large amount of worry and inconvenience for me on my travels.I asked if they could pull the surveillance of me pulling into the dealer and leaving to show that I did not have a crack pulling in and did leaving and George told me maybe. I asked for a follow up and George said he could maybe call me back tomorrow. At the end of the call he said he sees this is my first time at the dealer. Which it is not, but either way, it shouldn’t matter and all clients should be taken care of and respected. I felt that since they thought I’m “not a local,” they didn’t care about me and thought less of me. I understand that this is my word against theirs, either way this is terrible customer service and Garvey does not care about their clients.Avoid this business and go to Valvoline. Garvey Nissan is poorly ran and lacks professionalism on all levels. You cannot trust them to take care of you or your vehicle. Sad to see this business go downhill similar to the rest of the Rutland community recently!We had issues with this company back in 2017 as well. There also was sulfur residue left all over my car from the “complimentary wash.”
