“I love this place. It has a really great community, friendly and helpful staff and everything you need to achieve the fitness goals of your dreams. I don't do the classes but I hear those are great too. For sure the best gym option in Rutland.”
“Vermont Sport & Fitness is much more than just a gym—it’s an integral part of our community. In a time when large, corporate owned gyms have moved into town, Vermont Sport & Fitness continues to stand out by offering something that can’t be replicated: a genuine sense of connection and care. Owners Leslie and Dan, have built an environment where members are more than just customers—they are part of a family.
Dan and Leslie are not only passionate about fitness but also about supporting the local community. They are constantly involved in local initiatives, offering events, and finding ways to give back. Their commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive space is evident in every aspect of the gym.
While the corporate gyms may offer flashy facilities, they can’t compete with the sense of belonging that Vermont Sport & Fitness provides. For those who want more than just a place to work out—a place where they are truly supported and encouraged—this gym is the heart of fitness in our town. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a meaningful, community-focused fitness experience.”

“Nice Anytime! We were just passing through on our way north. Clean bathrooms, good equipment, and plenty of parking. Also right next to a indoor rock gym that was having a competition that was neat!”
“The PushBack Program at Marble Valley Strength and Conditioning is an excellent program for people with Parkinson's Disease. It's a team structured class with a lot of support and encouragement and you will find that you will enhance your motor skills, build strength, and improve your balance.
I'm a 70 year old woman who has parkinsons and my movement specialist neurologist has said that movement is the best medicine. I have found that to be true. Please stop in and try a class Monday, Wednesday, or Friday at 1 Scale Avenue, Bldg 11A, Rutland Vermont.
Love to have you join our team! Lucy”
