We have been loyal Home Depot customers since we bought our first home 3.5 years ago. That house was a fixer upper that needed everything from flooring to plumbing to electrical and all major appliances replaced, and we shopped at Home Depot for everything we could. We recently relocated and have again turned to Home Depot for all of our project needs in our new home. Well I don't know what is going on at this location, but we've had pretty rough luck on our last two big purchases in the past month. We bought a $600 Dewalt table saw from them only to get it home and realize it had either been refurbished or used and carefully restocked, including with a used, dull blade, without any labeling or markdown on the price/box. I immediately called them and a manager offered us a $50 store credit or the option to return. Well it's nearly a two-hour roundtrip drive there and back and we needed the saw that night to finish a project we were in the middle of when our old saw died on us, so we opted for the credit. The next time we were in town we stopped in for supplies and found a $520 clearance electric snow blower we decided to buy. It was a floor model, and we were told they weren't going to carry that brand any more, but that the blower came with all of the original items. We applied the credit to that purchase (and bought another $700 worth of tools and supplies) only to get home and find that the batteries and charger were missing from the blower. Again, it's nearly a two-hour roundtrip drive for us to this store, so turning around to address these issues once we get home is not only time consuming but expensive. We called customer service immediately and the associates did their best to find us replacement batteries. My husband drove back the next morning to pick these up, but because the brand is being phased out they only managed to find display batteries from 2017 models--three years older than the model we purchased---that had clear sun bleaching and did not hold an equivalent charge to the newer model. My husband brought them home hoping we could make them work, but we ended up taking the blower and batteries back just days later (unused--it's September) because we were not confident in the combination they'd given us, and I was worried that if the batteries failed then our warranty would not be honored because they did not match the blower year/model we purchased. Maybe the customer service associates were just sick of seeing our faces at this point, but the level of attitude we encountered trying to make this return seemed both abrupt and completely unwarranted. One associate in particular seemed to be suggesting that we were trying to scam over Home Depot with this return. This is after spending nearly $3,000 there in the last six weeks! She implied the original $50 credit we received (from a manager!) was some sort of "backroom deal"!? She said we needed to use the credit now on another purchase or lose it and said that if we returned whatever we purchased with it, we would lose the credit altogether. This is after selling us a USED saw and a blower that straight up could not even turn on because it didn't have batteries!! It took a manager and another associate to clear this up and smooth out this return, but it left both me and my husband rattled the way the one associate talked to us and furious that there was any implication that we might be trying to get one over on HD with ANY return! We've spent more than $5k there EVERY YEAR for the past three years! The credit was originally a gesture of good faith from a manager trying to keep LOYAL customers happy. And we greatly appreciated that gesture. But we ended up spending well over that just going back and forth trying to rectify the hodgepodge items we subsequently bought with that credit! The Rutland Home Depot is the closest to us but after these purchase mishaps and ESPECIALLY the reception we received at customer service, we're going to stick it out and dri

To keep it short web page for the Rutland store saying you had the item I was looking for. Get there and you didn't have it or even a location for it. than was told you never had it. than thad to buy something else to get the job done and spent more than double than what I would have. I think its the old bait and switch. not the first time and I am not happy at all. need to call the Better Business Bureau. Tired of getting ripped off.

Please, do not use their online ordering! Save yourself the trouble. For the third time we ordered items for store pick up. They notify us the item is ready for pick up, we get there and guess what?

Terrible service! Bad from beginning to end. Materials delivered to the wrong address and needed to be corrected. Way too much time wasted waiting in my condo for the materials to finally be delivered. . First installers did not leave my home until 10 pm and the job was not finished. Left a big mess and the trim was not acceptable and needed to be redone. So for three weeks i was without a completed floor . Second installer completed the job correctly but still ran out of material so needed extra time to finish. Again very inconvenient for me. The job is still not completely finished after 10 weeks! I would never use HOME DEPOT home services again.

Perennial plants beware: packages of 6 many have only 5: wave petunias for example, pointed this out to Clark "I can't do anything about it, you will have to pay full price (for 83% of product). Checked several other annuals, same thing: nice way to make 20% on your customers

I find this store to be very welcoming, organized and easy to navigate. The employees here are always friendly but not always easy to find. The restrooms are very clean. They always have what I need at great prices.

We've had really great experience with this location. Awesome customer service. In particular, Debbie in hardware went above and beyond to help us with an issue we were having with our door handle. She was fantastic.

Just terrible! Don't buy carpeting from this store! The installers never showed the first day they were scheduled which meant I took a whole day off work for nothing! I called upset and was promised that I would be first on the list for 3 days later and they would be there on time...nope! 3 hours later than they promised! Had to leave for work this time was assured "we do this all the time!" Got home to the worst install ever! When I called the store to complain I got "well what do want?" Then no calls back!!! Will NEVER buy carpeting or any other flooring from them again!
