Dishonest people running this place, steer clear.
TL;DR If Rich told me I couldn’t get the service I came in for if I also wanted the filter swapped BEFORE they went ahead and changed the fluid, I would have just done it all my myself because no special machinery is required. I ultimately blame myself for taking my truck here to begin with.
I brought my truck in for a transmission flush and filter change, Which I was unaware the filter is not changed during the flush service. Rich Asked me if I wanted to change the filter to which I said yes, but he DID NOT tell me the flush would not be able to be performed if the filter is changed. I get back the invoice that’s about $100 more than the price he estimated (no surprise there) and it says fluid and filter CHANGE not flush. I asked the front desk lady why it said change and not flush, and she said that was the computers “preset description for all transmission work” and they just didn’t go in and change it. Then Rich comes out and explains that a flush was in fact not performed just a change and that when I flushes performed, the filter is not changed. I could have changed the filter and fluid myself, I brought the vehicle in for a FLUSH for which a special machine is required that I do not have.

I had an oil leak spring on my engine right before knee surgery. I called originally on Monday and they were all booked up until Friday. When I couldn’t find a ride I called again and was clearly upset because I didn’t think my car was safe to drive for extended periods of time and I needed a way to get to my appointments. They told me to bring my car in as soon as possible so they could see what they could do. They were able to find the leak, fix it and for a great price that day. I’ve never ever felt like I’ve been overcharged for anything by them, as I have used them multiple times and it’s ALWAYS a reasonable price! They really saved my butt. I can’t say they’ll make accommodations for everyone like they generously did for me, but if you’re looking for a trustworthy shop to get your car worked on, Midas is 100% the way to go!!
