I was told today that if you are paying cash and don't have a trade-in, expect to pay $3000-$6000 MORE than the MSRP. A policy put in place by Don Handy, according to the staff. Matt advised me that some dealerships won't even sell me a car without a trade-in but they have it in their hearts to sell me a car but they will have to charge me more to "keep the doors open"

If Yelp would let me give this dealership 0/5 stars I would. Take your business somewhere elseBought a used car from this dealership in November 2021 and was told that the brakes had all been replaced before my purchase. It drove fine. 1 week later the brakes were unbearably loud. Called the dealership and they reassured me that they had just been replaced and that the sound was because they were "so new". I trusted my gut and brought the car back to them. After bringing the car to their shop I was told me that they had "applied too much grease" to the calipers and the sound would wear off in time.Brought it to my personal mechanic ... the brakes were completely seized. They had never been replaced by Handy Chevy. Can't stress how sleazy this dealership is. I should have walked when their slimy finance manager was pushy with the sale.

Absolutely the worse service department ever! Had a 3 o'clock confirmed appointment for a recall on a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Was told the recall would take 1 hour, was a software update and I could wait for it. When I arrived at 2:40 I was told by "Chuck" (who looks and acts like Ted Cruz) that it was a 3 hour update and they close at 6 so they could not get it done. After finagling to get a ride I left it there overnight and asked since they were keeping it to change the oil. Was called in the am and told there was a nail in the tire that could be fixed. Very much appreciated that. Was told at that time it would be ready at noon. Called at 1:15 pm just to confirm it was done since I live 26 miles away and was told they just started it! Ted Cruz look alike proceeded to tell me that I didn't bring it in till 5 pm ( not true, drop off was 2:40) and they had to fix the tire and do the oil change last night so couldn't get the recall done till today. (They just found the nail in the tire today so how they fixed it the day before is a wonder!). When I told him I was told it would be ready at noon he snapped and said it's just past that now. It was 2 pm, 2 hours past noon. I would have been understanding if they just told me they got behind and didn't get to it but this was crazy and will be the last time I go there. Handy Chevrolet needs to fix their Service Department if they expect to sell cars!

Terrible customer service! I brought my truck in for an AC compressor issue. I specifically said do not perform any work if my warranty was expired. When I picked up my truck they charged me $120 dollars and told me the AC compressor needs to be replaced. Then stated it was a mandatory charge to look at the truck even though I stated do not do anything to it if it was out of warranty. To top it off It was a 2.5 week wait when I called to bring it in. DO NOT DO BUISNESS HERE!!Finally tracking down talking to the service manager who doesn't return phone calls. I was told it was my fault I didn't write my warranty information on the drop slip and that the people who take appointments don't know if warranty work is covered. You would think $120 refund for a huge car dealership would not be an issue. Not for this TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP!! Watch out this place is scammer central

I will first say that my sales consultant, Matt Porter was a rock star as always. This review is in no way against him. What I didn't like and I was very clear with them about was that they are tacking on an additional $2k to the MSRP if you don't trade in a used vehicle. This is an attempt to incentivize people to trade in their used vehicles, which I understand. However, this really isn't fair if someone came in without a used vehicle to trade OR in my case, decided they didn't' want to trade their vehicle. They were not willing to work with me on my trade to come remotely close to meeting in the middle or giving me what my trade is valued at. A better solution would be to give X $ extra for their trade, not charge people on top of MSRP that don't have a trade. This was the 3rd and last truck that I bought from Handy's. In my opinion, this is not how you treat your loyal repeat customers. The other thing is that when I did have them factor in my trade, they tried to hide the $2k in my trade allowance saying that they were allowing me X for my trade, but really they were allowing me X-$2,000 and trying to make it look better than it was. They are sneaky.. watch the numbers, check the math, and shop around.
