I love Key Bank! I used to only belong to credit unions. After frustration after frustration I switched. At Key Bank. They're fast. I can get in and out quick and I love getting my husband's paycheck on Wednesdays instead of Fridays. I also get to chat with the manager of the bank. Also they don't charge you an overdraft as long as you put the money in by the end of the day. Credit unions charge overdraft on a dollar and you have to call to negotiate removal.

Probably the worst customer service ever!! The teller ( Craig Erickson) made me feel like I was being interrogated to cash a check. I don’t have an account with them and there is a fee. I didn’t care about that but he wanted my social and then occupation and that’s unnecessary information when I provided 2 forms of identification already. He said” well you can just go to your own bank”. He definitely has no customer service skills and is very disrespectful! I will never step foot in the bank again ! If you do back with them please stop and go to NEFCU the staff are great !!

Not recommended at all!As a new comer from Canada, I was hoping to start to build my credit history in the US. I applied for both a regular credit card and a secured credit card since I was told that the bank my be able to use my Canadian credit history to satisfy the requirements for a credit card. I got rejected for the regular credit card immediately and that didn't bother me.After a month of very poor communications regarding my secured credit card application, it was finally denied as well. The reason was being that I don't have a work visa on my passport to prove that I am a worker although I provided my SSN and I-94 which prove that I am a worker. Homeland security also confirmed that they no longer stamp work visas and I communicated this information to the bank.If you can't get a client a secured card (which poses no risk on the bank), how can people trust you for their day to day banking???

This place used to have great customer service and now it's terrible. First visit I was asked WHY I have a medical exemption for mask wearing. Per the ADA you're not allowed to ask people that! But at least that teller still helped me. Second visit I was kicked out for not wearing a mask.

My wife and I had a terrible experience with Key Bank in St Albans. It all started when we received a letter in late February stating they hadn't received our mortgage payment and we had incurred a 150$ late fee. knew this was impossible. We had both seen the checks withdrawn from our checking accounts with other banks. So I got on the phone immediately and spoke with Denise. She couldn't find our payment and said that we would need to show proof from our banks that we paid. This was on a Saturday morning so I didn't have a lot of time before the bank closed for the weekend. I went to Key Bank with a copy of my wife's bank statements and my check book which had the copy of my check and it's info. I met with Denise. She looked at our statements and checks and couldn't find our mortgage payment. I insisted that we had paid. I was not impressed that I had to go to my bank to also get a transaction for the payment that Key Bank LOST. Even though my wife's was right there. But it gets Much worse. Denise responded by saying she hears this all the time?!?! What! Key Bank loses peoples money or you think I am lying about my payment? Rude. So I leave and my wife and I worry about our mortgage and our new house all weekend. First time home owners and had lived there for 7 months at the time. Monday morning I go to my bank and get a copy of my account statements and all the info about when my check was deposited. This time I brought my wife with me. Denise was unavailable but we left my statements and our contact number and we were told Denise would contact us that day. We never heard from her. My wife called a week later and left a message for Denise. We never heard from her. In fact we never heard from Anyone at Key Bank. A couple weeks later a new payment comes in the mail. There was no penalty and it looked like the payments that Key Bank had LOST were found. But it's April and haven't heard a peep. We are super disappointed with our experience. I was scared about the bank losing our payments. That's a lot of money and it's a big deal. And then to have such unpleasant and unprofessional experience with your branch manager is just as

Jim Schuler saved me hundreds of dollars by providing me with a credit card with a very low interest rate. The process was quick, easy, and Jim showed a genuine interest in helping me save money. I recommend anyone who is looking for superior banking and competitive financing to see Jim for all of their financial needs.
