The service guys were fantastic and very helpful! They provided extra printed directions for changing the glass front door on the Castleton Hearthstone. They were booking 4 weeks out, so they offered to help me over the phone if needed.

Worst experience dealing with parts department,came over to them driving one hour and trying to show them exactly what part do I need and trying to give them model number from my fire pit like the pictures, they're saying send them email,they're so lazy they just didn't wanna leave they're seats cause they was warm. I hit this service. I am trying to do bussines with them cause I do have an account with them it looks like that was my last visit doing bussines with them.Very disappointed with the sale service person from the right side.(Parts department)?

I want to say Randy the owner was a 100% helpful in our purchase of our new stove and a true man of his word in a timely manner. Also his #1 tech Mark went above and beyond in the perfect and organized installation. I give them BOTH 5 stars because google doesn’t give the opportunity for me to give 10 stars. I HIGHLY recommend them.

The most garbage company I have ever tried to deal with. They will lie, cheat and steal if they can. Scheduled a service appointment, didn’t show up and lied about it. Do NOT give them your money. They are incompetent jerks.

We spent $8000 on wood burning fire. The service is poor, installer were unfriendly. Left our house without a word. The made a hole in the celing which was in the wrong place and left it to us to fix it. The next day the room was covered with insulation. I dread to think if something goes wrong with the fire! Who do we go to. This was our 3red never againfire

had an issue with our gas burning fireplace. another contractor came in and wasn't able to fix but Chimney Sweep (Logan) came in and has us running pronto.

Jotul 370. Less then a year of operation and changed $420.00 for a faulty electronic control board. Was told the warranty is based on the purchase date, not install and operational date. Even after that repair there is still an issues with the stove. Beyond Frustrating.

I purchased a gas stove for my daughter this past fall of 2022. She did all the communications, selection of the stove and installation arrangement. I called with the credit card information. The installation did not go well as it was sloppy and not aesthetically pleasing. The appointment to correct the problem was months away. Once hooked-up and started it operated for a couple of weeks and then continuously went out requiring the pilot to be restart each time, now the pilot won't even start. The appointment to get that corrected was almost a month out, and they were less than apologetic. I really wish she/we had read these reviews prior to doing business with these folks. Both of us have plans to purchase a new wood stove next year, it will be from anyone but the Chimney Sweep Fireplace Shop.

These guys are great. I mostly worked with Randy. He got me into a Dauntless and I love it. He was very knowledgeable and supportive of helping me design and install and it works perfectly. Look how beautiful it is!

They were great taking our money for a new pellet stove. The guys who installed it were good, not friendly though. They installed it in August so when we started using it in November I could smell a strong wood burning smell. I called about it. They did not really want to deal with it but this cost us 6,000.00 and I want someone to look at it. Long story, made an appointment for December 6th no b show, called left message and emailed not one person reached out. I will be driving over there tomorrow.

Not a helpful company. Will not service a wood stove because it wasn’t purchased from them. Even when offered hundreds above their flat rate service call, they will not touch it. It’s a brand new stove that they even carry. They say they aren’t in it for the money though, but next sentence, he says we won’t make anything from it. Hmmm..terrible terrible customer service. Would never purchase from there based on their service people.

I was referred to these folks by another Stove company in Vermont. The moment I called, I was met with the rudest and least helpful customer service person I'd ever dealt with. He cut me off before I could even explain the situation and promptly hung up on while saying " sorry can't help you ". Terrible customer service. Rude staff. I would not recommend doing business with this company if they were the last pellet/wood stove company on earth. I encourage ownership to reach out. If it were me, I would fire the person who answers the phone in the service department. I hope they're proud of talking down to a customer. Definitely a solid strategy for total failure. Keep up the terrible work!
