As soon as you walk into any TD branch, including this one—it's glaring how the customers aren't greeted by staff. It's as if you're bothering them! This is just one factor considered when I switched my auto-deposits to Chase—I've known them forever from my NYC days. Chase is a very professional operation, unlike TD. TD is handy when crossing into Canada, however, being a Canadian-based bank, hence: Toronto Dominion Bank. The branch in Winooski is positively the worst TD I've been to. So this one in Shelburne is a lesser evil.

Awful customer service. The bankers give conflicting advice, and then tell you they can't help you like the other one said. They are not at all helpful as operators will put you on hold after every single question to go ask a supervisor, and then just repeat to you verbatim what they say. If you have a question, you are on hold again. The hold service also has an incredibly annoying sound that they make you listen to repeatedly because the customer service reps continuously have to pause to ask someone else what to say to you. They also take an extremely long time to deposit checks, the longest I ever had to wait was seven days! When you call to ask for help getting your money, they put you on hold three times and then tell you to basically eff yourself. The worst banking service I have ever received.

I don't know why they didn't put any sort of cover for the ATM. We get all sorts of weather here. It would be nice to not get soaked while doing my banking. The machine was soaking wet and refused to take my cash.

This review is regarding how well this particular branch has been managed. Liz and her team value each client individually. It is hands down the best TDbank branch. If you want personal service, long term employees who know all of your kids names, and tellers who can start your transaction as you are walking in, this is the place. I can not think of any other branch in Chittenden County who has a team of employees who collectively achieve this level if service. In fact, presently, the downtown BTV - TD drive up is closed due to staffing issues.Thank you Shelburne TD for keeping hometown banking alive and well.

I went here for an atm cash withdrawal and the atm failed to give me my cash, and kept my Non td bank north atm card. The young lady inside was indifferent and unsympathetic, simply dismissive and telling me to call my bank.I have considered opening a checking account again through TD bank north as a convenience but the (potential customer) service sucks.

I am beyond frustrated with TDBank. In April I opened my bank statement and found $950.00 was stolen using my bank card information. I called customer services and reported it, but instead of helping me in anyway they sent me a form letter saying it was not fraud. I have called customer service, the fraud department and our local branch repeatedly. I filed a police report and submitted that but they continue to tell me there is nothing they can do. I have been a member of that bank for over 30 years and they do not care that this happened to me and they are unable to offer me any solution and they are certainly not willing to give me any of my money back. If you do use TDBank I suggest that you do what I am doing and take all of your money out. It's not safe in their bank and they do not care what happens to their customers.

Chris assisted me over the phone and was extremely helpful and very polite. He was super personable and friendly. My only other experience at this bank was setting up an account in person which was also a memorably good one. I forgot the name of the woman who helped me, but she was also very friendly and helped me understand what I was doing throughout the process (she sat to the right of the doors).

Terrible service! Can never get into my safety deposit box in a timely manner. On average hv to wait 15 minutes!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Friday before UVM new students start their programs. There is no TD Bank on campus (only ATM machines) so all the kids and their parents have to come to town. You wld think TD Bank wld gear up for this. I understand that the tellers cannot open accounts but of the people who can, at least one person is not helping any one for the entire 75 minutes we have been waiting. We are from out of State. If we knew of other banks in town we wld go there. Save yourself half a day and a lot of stress and aggravation and go to a different bank!!! BTW, nice that they offer lollipops BUT THERE ARE NOT ANT TRASH CANS FOR THE WRAPPERS OR STICKS......
