DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington Vermont is generally a nice place to stay with a wonderful and helpful staff. Many guests found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and spacious, with perfect beds and excellent cookies and coffee. The location is highly praised for being close to the highway, downtown, and near restaurants and shopping. The beautiful atrium and good on-site restaurants, including a tavern with delicious food, are noted positives.
However, some aspects received criticism. Rooms are described by some as outdated, dark, and in need of a deeper clean. There were complaints about the television barely working, a lack of complimentary breakfast, and logistical issues with an out-of-the-way elevator requiring the use of stairs with bags. A few guests experienced problems with the food and beverage credit not being applied automatically and noted a sewage-like smell in the bar area. While many enjoyed their stay, some would not choose to return.
Have stayed here several times and enjoy the location. Staff was friendly and cookies were warm!

The check in process was quick. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The climate control worked well. It was quiet (we did not hear guests in adjacent rooms). The TV worked well and had a reasonable selection of channels. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

Wow the new section was amazing. Room spacious and so clean. Every need was meet. Highly recommend Close to Main St..Market square and the waterfront
