GameStop is a popular store that offers a wide range of gaming products and collectibles. It provides new and used video games, consoles, controllers, and accessories for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and retro gaming. Customers can also find trading cards, sports cards, Pokemon cards, and other trading card games, along with gaming, anime, and pop culture merchandise such as collectibles, action figures, apparel, accessories, decorations, replicas, and board games. The store enables customers to sell or trade in old consoles, games, accessories, and phones for cash or store credit, and it now buys PSA graded collectibles like sports and Pokemon cards. Customers can visit the store in person or buy online for in-store pickup. Overall, the store has a friendly and helpful staff, with some locations having energetic employees who enjoy their jobs. Many reviewers appreciate the knowledgeable staff, especially in some branches where the employees are enthusiastic and down to earth. However, opinions about the company vary; some feel that GameStop has gone downhill over the years, citing high prices, a lack of energy, and a decline in the excitement that used to surround shopping there. One reviewer shared a negative experience with staff in a different branch, contrasting it with a more positive experience at their local store. Despite some dissatisfaction, the store remains a favored spot for gaming enthusiasts, especially those looking for collectibles and gaming gear, and continues to serve as a convenient place for gaming needs and trading.
