Great experience working with the team here to purchase a new MacBook Pro! They were patient and made the process very clear over the phone - would support them again.

They sold me in ipad on the website .. they canceled my order and never informed me. then when I called them 8 days later I was told they needed a copy/pic of my state issued I'd and a copy / pic of a utility from me also in Oder to make the purchase.. I did so .. only to receive email saying canceled order again and now the ipad is not Ava and was sold over the weekend .. I did my first Oder on 12/31/23 .. so they basically waisted my time and money .. I would of not have spent the money I thought I was saving on the after Christmas ipad sale they offered .. now i don't have the money for the new iPad cause I thought I was getting the iPad they offered .. they told me they couldn't do anything for me ..when I believe they should of gave me a brand new one , open box with the specs they promised for the same price or at least some new deal ... they hung up on me ultimately..

bought a new iPad and was made to feel stupid because I asked salesman to transfer my material from my old to new ipad. he refused to do it in the store. I have tried to do it with my wife who is very tech literate and she says that when she bought hers at an Apple Store they cheerfully did the transfer and it was done quickly. luckily I'm going to an Apple Store this week and and will ask them to do it. my last visit ever to small dog.

Ordered online, they want me to send my ID and Utility bill before they can ship my order. A very strange request, I never had to do it for any other seller ever.I am not okay sharing my personal information, especially ID and Utility bill, that can be used for identity verification at banks. I am very worried how my personal information will be treated. After 5 days, I had to request order cancellation.

Kind, helpful and FAST!I needed to get my computer screen replaced and it was a totally hassle-free experience. The person working the front desk was a gem and they really made me feel heard and got me my computer back WAY sooner than I expected. 10/10 experience.

I guess no one has computer issues outside of work hours. The hours here are WORSE than banker's hours. 10AM to 6PM Monday through Friday. Not even a few hours on Saturday. You've got to be kidding!! Small Dog was better when it was located on Dorset St, but only marginally.

Very pleasant, easy to get my device in for service, and very up front with what was needed.

I had a wonderful experience at Small Dog Electronics! My 2020 MacBook Pro screen had been replaced multiple times by another repair shop in the area and continued to malfunction. After speaking with Apple, they directed me to Small Dog Electronics where they were able to fix not only the screen problem they found, but also the battery issue and get my computer back to me within two days! Fantastic service all around, I will definitely be back if I ever need service on my MacBook again!

I wish I could give a zero for this review.I bought an out of box computer after speaking with one of the staff at Small Dog. This has been the worst experience with a computer I have ever had. It was not obvious and after asking a plethora of questions, not revealed, that the computer was 3 years old. After less than a year the power failed (it would not turn on). When I finally reached someone at Small Dog they told me it would be over a month before they could even look at it. I called All Systems Repair and they fixed it the next day. A month or so later the sound stopped working (great for Zoom meetings). 6 months later the mouse doesn't work. I will never buy anything there again. No one answers the phone, dishonest about why it was considered out of box, long wait times for repairs, all around disappointing. The only positive thing I can say is great location.

The camera on my phone suddenly ceased working so I took my iPhone to Small Dog to hopefully get a replacement phone overnight. To get a new phone, the employees stated there was a charge of $500 to get a loaner phone (regardless of how long you may have it), and although this money would be reimbursed upon returning the phone, it seems ridiculous especially because the phone I was given does not work properly. I spent three hours in the store trying to get all of my information to transfer to the loaner phone, and upon all of my information transferring, I began to use the phone. Almost immediately, the phone crashed several times in a row and is barely useable now. I cannot send texts, call or access my student ID card to get meals and into my dorm building. Furthermore, while I was waiting for the transfer to complete, the employees suggested several times that I leave the store and continue the transfer at home. While this suggestion may be reasonable to some folks, I am a college student without a car, and I could not access transportation services or directions during the three hours that my phone was being updated. The suggestion to leave being made several times seemed inappropriate and rude considering I had stated this information to them multiple times. The manager is also incredibly rude to customers based on what I heard while waiting there. I am waiting to go pick up my new phone today and I hope I have a better experience. However, based on the past interactions I've had here, I can confidently say I will not be returning and I do not recommend it to other customers.

I'd give them a 4 due to their counter expertise shared freely (although not very deep topics) but a negative 3 on their willingness to help their customers. Over the years, I've purchased 3 macbooks from these guys, probably $10K in just macbooks. In fact I just purchased a brand new M2 16" macbook pro as my prior one took a good spill and screen and touchpad are cracked.. but still runs with separate screen. In any case I was looking for a repair estimate on the 2019 macbook. They charged me $65.00 to tell me that with mutliple major items, it needs to be sent back to Apple for $1300 flat fee, and Apple will decide what else needs fixing. So from my perspective, I didn't get much diagnostics for my $65! First strike is the guy at the desk could have told me this and saved me a second trip. Second strike is that I asked if they would retrieve 2 files that I didn't have backed up.. They said that'll cost me $100, which is the price for full data retrieval. The macbook runs fine, keyboard works, even the touch screen works although it's cracked. I asked if they'd consider just charging me a small feel for the 2 files.. nope, no way. So I drove back in, picked it up, and once home it took me all of 5 minutes to get the files I need. I will likely replace the screen and touchpad myself for < $500 total. I do understand that people need to be paid for their work, but I also like to think that those we give our business to can be more than 'minimally' helpful and provide some personal service. No customer service to be found here! If you're looking for a local business that cares about relationships, look elsewhere, these guys are bad dogs!! They do carry lots of mac stuff so if you need something fast it's a good bet they'll have it, otherwise, not a lot different from bestbuy!

I stood in the store for about 10 minutes. I didn't even get so much as a hello no one helped me with anything so I went and bought my iPhone somewhere else. They did however have a nice selection.

I was in Small Dog today around 11:00 and the man who came to ask what I was there for was a bit curt right from the beginning. I explained what I needed help with and he rolled his eye's and said, I've never heard of that before. I started to tell him what had happened and he said, you sound panicky, I said I am panicky, I need help getting this fixed. After he asked me several questions he said why don't you go stand in line and see if someone at the desk can help you. The lady at the desk was very polite and did what she could to help me and gave me some tips to try at home, As I was standing talking to her the man I first talked to threw out the comment, she sure got herself in a big pickle. I was quite shocked by his attitude and rudeness. I found someone else to help me and I won't be visiting that store again.

Love to visit a small business but unfortunately didn’t feel the love today when considering purchasing an Apple Watch. I appreciate being left to browse but when specifically seeking advice about what products do and do not do and repeatedly seeking answers to questions or help…unfortunately I went to Best Buy and received the help needed.
