Only visited briefly, but appears to be an upscale, well-maintained, independent senior residence.

Since I've lived at Cedars in Queensbury, NY my bill is consistently wrong. I've been fighting with Kelly for 8 months now; about a money order that she says was not cashed by the bank. I wrote to Western Union and they sent me a letter stating that the money order for $325 has been cashed. Even with this evidence Kelly insists that I still owe the rent for May of 2023. Kelly wants me to do her job and discuss it with her supervisor. I'm refusing to do that. I do hope that Kelly will speak to her supervisor about this and this will be taken care of soon.

They are supposed to be a low income Property Company and my experience with this company wasn't a very good idea to begin with! They Discriminated against me because of my age! They did a viewing of one of their Handicapped Apartments and my caseworker from age well with me and because of a honest clerical error that was done by mistake, after all of the jumps and hoops I was put through, they said that I couldn't have the Handicapped Apartment that was available because I wasn't 62 years old. The Apartment was in very bad condition and I was still willing to take the Apartment in the condition that it was in but they said NO! It was through Cathedral Square Apartments and they don't care about the people who live there and all they are concerned about is getting the Tenants money!

would give zero stars if I could. They don't respond to tenant concerns in the building. Horrible move out process. Didn't pay back security deposit.

They do not fix anything that needs fixing then there a fee to putting in your air conditioning and then a inspection fee that's a joke for these poor elderly communities

Poor communicators or understaffed perhaps. Rush through transactions. Are not very clear or consistent about setting expectations. They have failed to maintain the building in the time they have managed it. There are multiple hazards on a regular basis and many outstanding issues that will cause more future damage. Do not work with them if you can help it.

I viewed an apartment with another person interested in the place. I told the leasing agent right away, privately, that I wanted the apartment, that it was perfect for occasional visits from my daughter who uses a wheelchair. He said to put in an application and that the first applicantion in would get the flat. He then went to the other person, who had not yet said he wanted the flat, and urged him to hurry and apply. The agent told me he thought the other person, a young man, had a greater claim because his appointment had been fifteen minutes before mine. I am an older woman. This was before any application was in and after I said I'll take it. I was already working on the application on my phone. He then went to the other guy and urged him to apply quickly. I submitted my application in his presence. The other guy left. Next day, first thing, I emailed a correction to my income calculations, which was a significant increase and added the sources of my income which include VA disability. The agent would not return my calls. At the end of the day, he left a voice mail telling me the other guy had submitted his application first. Bottom line, he preferred the attractive young man to the older woman disabled veteran and discriminated accordingly.

My father passed away and this company is trying to make me pay the the remaining amount for his lease. He had no executive of estate nor is my name on lease contract. I get letter in the mail for rights and responsibilities they want me to sign as if he left on his own terms. Definitely not legal in the state and has violated the 14 day return policy of deposit from the date of his death. We told the property management the apartment was clear and they never looked at it or tell us what they were going to do with deposit. Stay away from this establishment!
