The staff at this pharmacy is slow, rude and incompetent. They spend more time chatting with one another, answer the phone while 'helping' customers and take their time receiving drug deliveries while customers are waiting.

Pharmacy staff are slow, incompetent, and rude. Refills are never ready when they should be. Instead of using a modern database, refills are hand written on post it notes (that get neglected for days). The pharmacy is completely closed every day from 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch break. I work with the public myself, and we use staggered lunch breaks. We would never think of closing down completely in the middle of the day.

They wont answer the phone. The pharmacy or even the store, My wife needed her meds I needed to talk to someone in the pharmacy. I have called there many times before, no answer. I Called corporate they, they acted very concerned and promised they would call me back. Never even got a call back from corporate. In my frustration I googled why doesn't Springfield vt Rite Aide answer there phones. Could not believe what I saw post from Springfield Rite Aide pharmacy. Bashing their customers for having the nerve to call them while there busy. I urge everyone to check out the posts. Just google it. You can see the reddit posts, some very very nasty.

The pharmacy is mostly staffed by folks who just lack customer service skills. Sadly there are no other options in town.

Springfield VT - They are terrible. Staff is largely pleasant and helpful but always understaffed and phone systems sucks. My call was dropped many times and after finally making contact with a different department was told hat pharmacy not taking phone calls and only dealing with walk in customers as they are again understaffed. Seems to be an ongoing problem at this location.

If I could give them negative stars I would. The pharmacy staff are the rudest. Prescriptions are never ready when they tell you. Sometimes days waiting. I asked them to transfer my script to Springfield pharmacy and they wouldn't until I got Springfield pharmacy to hound them with me. Shut this pharmacy down now.

Springfield, Vt Pharmacy, as of 12/2022, is run by selfish person of low to no ethics. Prescription called in by doctor late afternoon. Was told we'd get a text when ready. By 6:30 we still hadn't heard so we called down. Was told by Pharmacist that the script wasn't filled because "no insurance was on file". When we advised that we'd gotten scripts filled recently with no issues, we were told that it was " because the doctor called it in as if it was a new patient". So - 1) in essence, the pharmacy didn't even cross check to see if the patient was already in their database (inefficient & unprofessional). 2) Even if there was no insurance (which there was), this was a a case where someone would easily have paid the $20 out of pocket if need be. When we pointed out that to not fill a script at all for that reason made no sense, was told "sorry, that's just the way I run MY Pharmacy" (hmm.. thought he was working for Rite Aid?!). 3). To top it off, when we asked to have it filled (and on the insurance which he now knew was available), was told "sorry, I'm closing in 5 mins and do not have time". It was 7pm and the website and posted signs all say Pharmacy is open until 8pm! Never, Never, would use this Pharmacy/ pharmacist again....
